Manticore with War Galive emitter with Black Claws, and a Raven SS pommel.
All in Bane's Heart with a non-illuminated AV.

This was my Spring Raffle 2 entry.
After Waxman's info on the Bane, and my love for the Warcore by Valx Vanzan, I decided to use this design as my Bane's heart saber over the Bane.
I could not be more happy!
Initially seeing the Manticore I loved the emitter, but disliked the short length of the saber and the lip at the emitter.
I already got a Manticore emitter for my Dark Shock RGB and used a Guardian Pommel piece to make a choke to fix my issue with the width of the emitter

I noticed with the Dark War Glaive that the body was short overall and the choke was large taking up much of the saber.
So after seeing Valx Vanzan's Warcore here: www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=11756.0
I loved how it made the saber a good length for my hands as a two hander. But I wanted the silver to be flush using the plain War Galive Emitter, but with black claws to match the black and silver hilt. I tried different pommels in my inventory and decided on the Raven SS pommel at it matched the color scheme and made the length identical to my Dark War Glaive. Also made it more Sithly.

It looks like a really comfortable saber to wield, specifically the choke-point at the top and the small indentation towards the pommel.

Every time I see a new WG emitter combo, I want one just a little bit more.

And as Waxman said, it looks like a comfy saber.  Does it handle as well as it looks?

Yes it does handle as well as it looks. One of my best handling designs.

^ I agree. I think Bane's Heart looks great on everything, but Black claws do work well!

I think there is a misconception that black claws don't look good as they don't reflect light, but personally I think that makes the color look more pure and helps you see the claws too.

I am still wishing for Black Claws for the Raven, maybe a color swap for the hilt where silver is black and black is silver.

I've been pondering a Bane's Heart, it looks really great! And as mentioned before, I think the black claws showcase it well. To be honest this is the first saber I've seen with claws that I've loved.

I do have one question (sorry if its been asked a million times - or if the info is easily found elsewhere... just came to mind and I figured you would be a good person to ask... seeing as your saber has components from 3)

How do you go about getting non standard parts like emitters? Or pommels? Do you just tell em in the comment section what you would like? Or do you buy the standard saber - and then extra pieces from the custom saber section, and cobble it together by yourself when it gets there? The first scenario would be awesome! The second sounds expensive D: ~ !

^I do the second. Order the base, then add parts on. In this case I ordered it with the Warglaive Emitter with black claws separately, then I already had the Raven SS Pommel from an old order.

I have a stash of parts too that I swap around and try out.

You can always e-mail them and ask if you want emitters and pommels swapped out before it ships, but then you may need to also pay requisition charges for the difference. I have never heard of that being done yet but I have thought about it. Just e-mail then at [email protected] and see what they say.

I always like having extra parts, I love customizing. But keep in mind I have 15 sabers now, 11 With sound and MHS parts.
