Title: New Phantom V2
Post by: Ultra on December 24, 2010, 04:44:23 AM
Coming up with the Phantom was an easy concept.  Just couple two Dominix sabers together.  So if we release a new Dominix, doesn't that mean we have to release a new Phantom?  Why yes.  Yes it does.

So here it is, the new Phantom V2:

As you can see, it's two Dominix V2's coupled together.  In my humble opinion, this saber is FAR superior to the original Phantom and is a testament to how far we've come in the last couple years.  This is a super high quality piece with an excellent black anodized finish and it's priced INCREDIBLY low.

Like all our staffs, the Phantom comes with a coupler and two individual pommels.

BTW, there's a hole going through the coupler.  That's so you can put something through it, like a 9/64th allen wrench, and use the leverage to get the coupler off if it ever gets stuck.

um...ultra...i seem to have a problem my coupler is REALLY stuck and we tried using the allen wrench to loosen it but its not working and when we try to use our hands to unscrew it, it cuts our hands ... What to do!!???!!??!

First, don't use your hands on the threads, they can cut you  ;)

Second, use something with a longer handle, like a screwdriver, to put in the center hole of the coupler to get more leverage to unscrew the coupler.

Third, when all hope is lost, PM or email me and I'll make it right.

Hey !

I was drooling over your youtube videos and decided to see all the other reviews of the dominix v2 RGB family and was just wondering, if it was possible to switch the button order (probably just diffrent wire method) in a pref way or is it standard (top = green, middle = blue and bottom = red)? I know it probably silly thing to ask, but was just wondering if you could do it in other orders as well (buyers request)?

The other thing i was wondering was, if i get a Phantom V2 with only one part RGB and the other normal (lets say blazing red), is the weight and different ? Don't get this wrong, I'm no dueling expert and im not looking for perfectly balanced staff either :) Was just wondering if it's detectable

Email us about the first question, as for the second, yeah, the weight is different and noticeable.
