Hello, all. You can call me digi. I'm very new to all this, though I do have some combat experience (such as it is) as I used to fight in the SCA in armor with rattan. I'm sure there's much to learn, and I just wanted to say hi to you all. No guarantee I'll be able to go super deep into this (I have other nerdy cash sinks hobbies, after all), but this just seems really cool, and I'm glad I got into this.

Ha, good luck with that. All things being equal, I love combat of all flavors. True, everything takes it's own level of investment... funds are such a pain at times. Like squeezing blood from a stone. But yes, figuring out when and where you are able to make purchases can be a pleasant reward if the outcome is awesome enough. I was glad to acquire my lightsaber, but of course would love a more fantastic one. As an investor in great things on occasion I get the need to diversify what you choose to spend on... But it doesn't mean you can't prowl the forum for fun on occasion anyway without constantly purchasing lightsabers from Ultrasabers (US) so feel free to enjoy. Best of luck purchasing something favorable whenever you get the chance. Till then there are some interesting topics you might read. At any rate, welcome.

Welcome digi! It is sad that hobbies have to be so expensive. I'd love to have more sabers than I do (as well as more stuff from my other hobbies), but I just can't afford them.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. There is a Search Function available (picture with magnifying glass), but if you can't find what you need with that, ask away. Someone is sure to be able to get you answers.
