The forums aren't fun anymore.
I think what's missing is the good ol' buzz that used to pop up on a semi-regular basis when a new saber was being unveiled. That always got us pumped. Lately it's just been a lot of nubes yacking about "just joining the forum," and "I'm looking at getting this saber," and "why don't things work the way I expect them to?" It's the same crap we all did when we were nubes, but with the release of the movie, there has been a tremendous influx of nube activity, and precious little to stir things up for the vets. Give it time, soon we'll all be swooning over a Tano hilt and talking about finagling finances to afford one. It'll be great. PS: I offer no offense to nubes reading this. My comments are based on general stereotypes and not specific individuals or instances.  |
