HOW THE @#$% DOES IT GET WET WITHOUT ME KNOWING IT?
A friend took his phone to the Apple store saying it had broken somehow and was still within warranty. The guy pops it open and says it's been wet. Friend says no way, it's not been dropped into a sink, toilet, puddle. Hasn't even been in the rain, nothin. The guy shows him a tiny coloured thing inside and explains that it changes colour if its been wet. Sure enough it's whatever colour it's not supposed to be. My friend leaves, confused and with a voided warranty. He sits the phone on the coffee table and relays all the info to his wife. At the end he says I just don't understand how it could even have been wet. His wife says I think I've figured it out as she points to the 1 year old who has the phone sticking halfway out his mouth whilst slurping and sucking on it. The secret life of phones! |

Well my warrantee was up a year ago, but I had insurance. And as much as I want kids, the Force has not seen fit give me that opportunity. The only, and I mean ONLY way it could have gotten moisture in it would have been from steam on Saturday when I had it in the bathroom while I was showering. But it didn't die until last night. If a short was going to occur, it would have happened Saturday. |

Thanks for the support and humor. Yeah TS was a bit of a low desperation point... glad you all pulled me back from that abyss !  Interesting shared raging songs but I'm kind of a softie lol.  This is about the best that I can do. I know... pathetic but what's a girl to do... grabs lightsaber haha. Yeah, no. That's not how we work. At least not most of us. I don’t know about other women, but the thought of being touched after my breakup from hell was just nope. Actually following though would have been a bad thing for both parties.
Pretty much, yeah. We tend to need a lot of time before we can be in a place to actually do that. |
