When I order sabers I usually opt for the 32 inch blades. However, when the sabers have arrived as of late, the blades only measure 30 and 3/4 inches total length. I was just curious why the blades come in shorter lengths then what is stated as standard during ordering. I'm not upset over this, I am just wondering is all.

Are you measuring the blade when removed from the hilt or the blade while it's inside the hilt?

i found the same thing too with my blades.  i'm not upset either.  I've gotten too used to 30" blades still, i wonder how much difference an 1 1/2" would make.

I just measured some of the ones I have from various hilts, blade removed from the hilt, measured from beginning of blade to the end of the tip.  I measure 36 1/2 inches.  However, depending on how much length goes into the saber, some blade lengths appear longer than others.  The blades I measured were purchased between June thru August of this year.
