So how would one go about making a Shadow Guard saber? Plain Dominix V3 then maybe about 2 pikes or 3 and 24 inch blade?

Was actually re-thinking and thought a Dark Initiate base hilt would probably be better length wise. If he does have one probably missed his post like always. I'm thinking probably 2 extensions would do it though?

Based on pictures, I'm planning mine around three extensions, and perhaps a Bane. |

I'm thinking an all black Bane would top that thing out quite nicely with some pike extensions and maybe a War Glaive or Consular pommel on the end.

On that 2nd pic what type of inner suit would be needed? I'll just say it, I'm gonna make me a Shadow Guard costume ;o Even my mom is up for that. Just finding a good helmet will be difficult. There was a maker on FB I found but can't remember their name at all x.x I'm gonna base mine off that 2nd pic so. I expect its from one of the movies? I can probably get away with using my rubies Vader gloves since they aren't really proper shape anyway and the one Hero boots I have in black. Everything else will take some time. The gown thing maybe not so though. Looks just like a black poncho type thing though

Update. I can use my old grim reaper/Scream robe for the main base robe and just a plain long sleeve black shirt and pants. Finally found the helmet maker I was looking for so I'll be getting that soon. Someone used the same robe as mine once and got accepted in so I'll be doing mine for personal fun though even though people will probably say I should submit in. My mom should be able to re-shape the robe to the appropriate shapes. Just the saber stuff will take awhile to get. For the Bane would 2 pikes be enough to make it as long as the Shadow Guard saber? Looking at pics the blade seems to be standard length so don't really want it too too long. Never even thought to use that old robe of mine either So I'll post pics of at least the soft parts once they're done so =] I'll probably need different boots though |

I think two plus a Bane would do it well, and I'd go for a custom 30 inch blade. Not too long, not too short.
