Well, got my Violet Amethyst Prophecy V3 in the mail yesterday - it was all but perfect - I got a Blue A/V switch rather than a Red one.
I'm not too bothered, if just a little miffed, it still looks pretty good - perhaps I'm just nitpicking.

Anyways, I bogged down to order two more for two friends of mine, hope they'll come out exactly as ordered:

Prophecy V3
Guardian Blue
Mid Grade
Obsidian with Blue Illuminated Switch
Hole-In-Bottom Pommel

Dark Prophecy V3
Fire Orange
Mid Grade
Obsidian with Regular Switch
Hole-In-Bottom Pommel

I bet that Prophecy w/ VA looks awesome! Any pics??

And you seem to be a pretty badass friend, Ruin Smiley What are you and you're friends planning to do with all your sabers? I saw you got mid grade so I'm guessing their wont be much sparring involved...but could be wrong. Y'all could play taps  Wink

Mid-Grade is the way to go.  I've sparred with them.  They all take martial arts (:  It's come to the point where when we realize we don't make a hit, we're already on our way to the next attack.  It ends up being a bunch of light taps until we score a hit.  It's also much more fluid and quick.  But I assure you, those final hits hurt like a truck.

Nice sabers. So you're doing a Prophecy V3 club. Tongue Hope I can do an Obsidian club soon. Most likely be a bunch of Libs like before. But V3 and with all Obsidian goodies.

If they do I'd suggest sending a polite email about what's happened. Hopefully your VA looks more purple than mine does.

That is a lot of Prophecy sabers! lol Sorry to hear about the AV switch. I would definitely say something to them if you want it changed.

The DVA Prophecy V3 I ordered for my friend just came in yesterday morning. Those are beautiful sabers, awesome for single handed use. After holding that rather than my raven or staff I felt like I had nothing in my hand. Awesome saber.

And yea, those final hits do hurt, a lot >_< My friend is a 3 time east coast kendo gold medalist in the U.S and he was practicing with us. WOW he can move.

Hope you enjoy it ^_^

Wow, talk about getting some good practice in. If you wanna be the best, you gotta go up against the best in my opinon lol. I still like the UEHG compared to the mid grade cuz my brother and I tend to get into it and its makes it way more difficult without the extra layer of thickness.

But mind you, that extra layer of thickness hurts like a SoB! Especially on the knuckles or fingers...

My friends can get pretty damn close to being the best around.  The reason why mid grades work so well for us is because they're light.  Just had a sparring match today - all I felt were light taps against my blades until the final touch, which hurt like a mother.  What actually happened was we never committed any of our strikes, so as soon as we read a block, we're already thinking of our next move - we're usually thinking of 2-3 moves ahead of what position we are now - a concept we were taught when we learnt Wing Chun, where many of the strikes were uncommitted and were designed to flow straight into another should it not land.

But should they land... jesus.  Ouch.  I've left fourteen bruises on two of my friends, I received 8 Grin
