Hmm... interesting.  I always like to see a Corran Horn saber idea.  I'll be working my way to making one sometime...

I'm not sure how duel-worthy this design would be if the crystal chamber were included.  Those tend to weaken designs significantly, especially with the two-pillar design.  Of course, you'd be dueling with it closed, so I think you might be able to pull it off if you can make the lock system solid.

Other than that concern, I think it's perfect.  And the light blue color will fit nicely, even if he's supposed to use a white blade.  Although, if you wanted to, the white is a good-looking color as well.

Hmm... if you wanted to, you can probably convert a Dominix v3.  Ultrasabers work well for customizations and the like.
