New to the lightsaber scene need help starting

I bought a saber from a buddy and after realizing it was one of yours I started playing on your site. Now there's a lot I'd like to order

To start off the saber I have I believe is a dominix v3 it has 4(aaa) setup switch and led.
Kinda bare bones but still cool.

Where do I start to add sound to this? I'm pretty sure Ill need a momentary switch instead but other than that what else? Assuming pommel needs replacing too since not vented.

Thanks for your patience with a newbie.

Well welcome to the forums. I havent gotten a dominx v3 or aeon v3 ( yet) ive herd they've got a nice feel to them. Well for sound your gona need a few things depending on what sound bord you decide to go with. Lets just say the obsidian.you will need the obsidian bord a 1000ma buckpuck a li-ion battery pack and speeker set up the momentary switch yes the vented pomel ( i would go with the dark catalyst for the streamlined look but thats me) Oh yah some soddering skill or know some one who can. All the diagrams and help you could ever want is here on the forum all you got to do is search For it and ask questions everyone here is more than willing to help

Okay cool I'm assuming I can get all from ultras website.
Does the obsidian have FOC?
How much you think all this will be ball park?
If it gets close to price of another saber may just buy another with all that.

All obsidian bords are foc you would have to get the led module  with the foc option witch is an upgraided led with the proper resisters for the chosen color. But yes its an investment for upgraids Well worth it in the end. Lets not even get started on adding a recharge port

Thanks those videos definitely made more sense to me seeing it.

The FOC for the obsidian board just blinks you color or does it have option to activate another color.

The foc die is how its wired to the led usualy a 4die led.engin (RGBW)

Looks like this ( ignore the recharge port in the diagram its incorect

And that looks like youve got a dominx v2 there
I dont think there obsidian Or mhs compatable. If you could get a hold fo a master replicas or hasbor bord from ebay (30-40$) it might fit maby. The v2's wernt designed for sound they whsre an early designe .
