Just wanted to drop in and say hi! I got my first saber last week, and because I didn't have any preference I decided to go ahead and get a $75 mystery box. I got super lucky and got an Aeon V3, Green, with premium sound. I'm kicking myself that I didn't do an unboxing video haha, but I saw the slip of paper on the packaging and got too excited. I have the feeling this is going to be the start of something of an addiction. Planning to get a couple of stunt saber hilts and do some builds and customization. Have a bit of experience with engraving and weathering metals, so hopefully will have some good stuff to show off in the next few months! Really hyped to find such a large SW community.  |

Hello and welcome jldavi! Congrats on your saber! Aeon V3 is a very good hilt to learn with. You can fight well and spin it with ease. You were lucky to get sound (and Premium even). Congrats on the Aeon w/ premium sound. A great all around saber. Please post some pics of your excellent prize and anytime you feed your saber habit.
I started my customization days with some grab bag stunts, they allowed me to experiment without messing up a $300+ hilt. Oh yeah, we love customization pics as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Definitely excited to be here. I placed an order for a couple more mystery boxes as a raffle entry, since only have one saber and want to grow my collection out a little bit and see what I like/dislike before I commit to some of the more expensive sabers. Super excited to get my mystery boxes, and will take photos and maybe even an unboxing video (assuming I don't get over-eager again and just tear the box open haha). |
