TX...had that footage sitting around since last year. I was going to just delete it at one point, but it did lead me here. So I resurrected it to try to add a secondary story to the unboxing  :)

Great video SD!  The Initiate V4 is a great pull, especially with windows and an AV switch.  :-)  Much better than your 'facebook' saber!  Did that thing even light up?

The FB saber did light up when I put batteries in. But there was no sound—even though it looked like there was a speaker. Like I said in the vid, they not only sent me a dollar store toy, but a BROKEN toy. No sound, blade bent to fit inside the plastic mailer. And they had the nerve to ask me to mail it back to them before they would issue a refund. Fun times for sure  ;D

At first I didn't like the Initiate v4.  But after awhile it grew on me, and now I love mine.  It is such a versatile hilt, the perfect canvas for customization, so very comfortable to hold, and the size lends itself to easily carrying it wherever you want to go.

Edon, I agree. I really love how adaptable it is. It took to the new pommel like it was made for it. The more I see and handle the sabers from US base line, the more I’ve come to enjoy them. There’s a sentinel on my bucket list in the not too distant future and a dark standard. The one with the vertical silver lines is really growing on me. Something very sleek about the slanted emitter and those silver accents!

I recently saw your video on YT, very nicely done. Unfortunate that you had to go through that experience with the (insert expletive) of a person selling those knockoffs on FB. At least you now have a real nice Ultrasaber!

The gold version isn't available of course, I just modelled this in Blender 3D, but we can all dream!

OMG...that gold one looks so amazing. I would love US to do some black and gold versions of their sabers. My favorite color scheme. You are certainly making me want that dark standard even more  :)

Great MB pull you have there.  I liked it originally but your upgrades including the MHS pommel and the red o-rings really made the saber your own.

Hello again, thanks for the kind words, for some reason the black on gold version I mocked up looked better than the regular DSI (the silver accent lines look jagged compared to the ones on the gold hilt).

I just hope I haven't done any serious damage to your wallet!

Hehe...FT, my wallet is currently broken. But this saber is very much on my future list. Has been for a while, but the pull of the dark side grows stronger!!!
