YES!!!  I have several of their albums.  Oddly, I got into them because of liking Kid A by Radiohead.  I haven't liked a lot of Radiohead's later direction but Medeski Martin and Wood picks up all of the things I liked the most about Kid A.  Funny, that.

Right now, MJ and I have been playing nothing but Our Last Night.

Their most recent release, "Younger Dreams" marks quite a departure from the sound of their previous albums, which was (up until now) very aggressive. However, that is not say that they have lost their edge by any means, the aggressive instrumentation of prior albums is still very much at the forefront of their music, albeit with more technical prowess and nuance. For me it is one of those albums that I enjoy to listen to over and over again, the kind of album during which you never skip a song.

Recently, they have been doing covers of many popular songs, including: Imagine Dragons - Radioactive, and Skyfall by Adele.

They're so good that they can make One Direction listenable:

I've been into djent kinda stuff such a this lately. They usually play on 7 or 8 strings guitar but I've seen some 6 strings done. I'm going to start doing videos like this here soon with the djent kind of sound =]
