Title: Dark Shock custom came in today!!! (Pic heavy) Post by: Aurick on February 25, 2014, 06:40:08 AM Hey guys finally got the saber I've been dreaming of for months, and on top of that a free grab bag!!
I ordered a Dark Shock with an activation box, emerald driver, obsidian sound,and lit av switch. My grab bag saber was a SI in CG! Pics of both below. (Pic heavy) Post by: Aurick on February 25, 2014, 03:29:37 PM Very easy just took a fine grain sand paper held it in my hand put the saber in my "palm" and twisted the saber on the sandpaper for varying degrees of time to get the effect. later today I can maybe do a lil tutorial slide show thing to really illustrate it but yeah that's all it took. Bout an hour over all so it's a quick mod too! I too have also decided on the Dark Shock as my next saber. Soon as the next raffle comes along I'm pulling the trigger on a Dark Shock (Emerald) 2 channel R-B with sound, and a Consular emitter*. I am not a fan of activation boxes, I think they look great but also think they get in the way of the ergos of any hilt other than the Graflex. Oh yeah point for you, that Dark Shock looks phenomenal with the silver box! Also I'm a sucker for blue. ;D
