Post by: sjorsjo91 on January 06, 2011, 05:58:02 PM
This is my first lightsaber ever build. it features absolutely nothing except an light-up crystal chamber.

Did you design it based on Starkillers? its not exact but I sense some design influence

I like starkillers design. But i really wanted this to look my own. The last 2 pics are older pics from before the exposed crystal chamber

well actually i did but this one is 4 years old and way to small for anything to fit in.
I do however want to customize a standard issue battle saber to look like my first

Can't wait to see it! Sounds Suh-weet! lol Out of curiosity, next to the Starkiller influences... was I catching a hint of Ep 1 Kenobi in the grips?

You are in fact the first one to notice that Manroon :o
It was to full as a plain black grip so i cut out the stripes in there to enhance the looks and the grip.

Heh. Awesome. Score one for me! ;D And bonus points to you, the grip is awesome. I love the balance between the grip and the emitter.

So do i haha. I still think that this is one of my best sabers. Especially since it was build completely out of scraps. I like this one and the Starkiller the most because they both mark an era in my saber building "career". This was the first one ever and the Starkiller was the first one ever with light and sound.

Even if its 4 years old, its still got a nice design. The fact that you took the time and imagination to come up with it yourself says a lot about your skill. I'm interested in what you used for parts. Looks almost like a steel or lead pipe.
