Mine just leans on the wall by the door to my office...

Out in the open at least.  Never thought of making a stand/rack for it.

Do it up OlynKhorn. Smiley

So I have a question and this thread might be the one to answer it. (Hopefully). I plan on ordering a Guardian and attaching a Pike extension to it. What would a lightsaber with just 1 yari pike extension be called? I assume it's not a pike. And it would be just a bit shorter than a staff, but only 1 sided. I just don't know if that style single bladed saber has a type name.

Question for y'all. How do y'all display your saberspears/pikes when they are not in use?

Just put 'em all together (I have two right now, two more on the way), and cap them off with a pair of Scorpion pommels I have laying around.  Which, really, makes for one mean and nasty bludgeoning weapon IRL.

Weird, but in a good way!

It depends on what definition of pike you're using.  In the classical, pole arm definition, no it's not.  In the Star Wars universe definition, it's a Saberpike (see here for the Star Wars Force Pike: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_pike/Legends ).

One of the closest weapons you'll find is the Japaese Nagamaki (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagamaki ).  In general, a bladed weapon with a handle of similar length to the blade would fall under this category.  I have a single Yari extension attached to my Dark War Glaive and I love it.

Here are the definitions that I use:

Saber spear - Three extensions, 24" or shorter blade.
Saber pike - One extension, 32" or longer blade.
Double bladed saber - two sabers attached end to end; also known as a saberstaff, despite the fact that only about half its length is safe to put your hands.  Alternately, there are examples in the Star Wars universe of double bladed sabers that have a standard single bladed hilt length.

Semi-useful knowledge: Yari is the Japanese word for spear.

Very clear, very precise, and very awesome. Haha. I immediately thought of Exar Kun when you mentioned the double bladed saber at a regular hilts length.

Very nice. How much does it curve while using it?

It's very rigid, actually.  Very little flex, very solid feel to it, even though it's four extensions, three couplers, and the two Scorpion pommels.

That's nice. I would definitely learn to fight with that.
