Title: Longer blade plug
Post by: Cochran1977 on January 04, 2019, 01:52:56 AM
Just wondering if it is possible to get longer blade plugs. The ones that came with my ?5 sentinel and apprentice are 3/4” too short to cover the windows (top of plug shows in windows).

As of right now, They only make one length of blade plug that I am aware of.
To get longer ones, you'd likely need to see about making them yourself, or having them made

Yes I bought a grab bad blade just to cut down to fit in each one of my sabers perfectly.. making them isn't too difficult.

that's probably one of the more cost effective methods too

I recommend this method because blade plugs in the secondary market are very expensive.

Clear 1" OD polycarbonite tubing isn't that expensive and lots of online retailers sell it. You can easily cut it to size with a pipe cutter and pvc glue works on it, but there's many other adhesives that are cheap and easily accessible. I have a few tubes of poly I was trying to use to make a chassis for my 18650 batteries since they fit it quite well.
