Nice. I kinda like the look without the blades on. Plus with the screw holes it'll give the emitter kind of a windowed look to it.

It depends. The saber is already heavy enough as it is, so a 36" might come in handy if you want better maneuvering, but I still prefer the 40" for the full beast look. Also, it has a deeper socket so the 36" will provide less blade than in other sabers, becoming more of a 32". |

It does feel lighter, but it's still quite heavy towards the emitter. I can only imagine what the large claws feel like... |

Use the emitter as the pommel!
Oh my gosh, think of the weight difference and how intimidating that would look. Almost like it's a saber-staff only instead the pommel is like an axe or something.
