lee filters question

I currently have a guardian blue saber and i need to make it purple for my wifes halloween costume. I was just wondering if anyone has any experence with mixing lee filters to make blue into a decent purple. I have a swatch book but i havnt had any luck getting the color i am going for.

Its very hard because the blue doesn't output all the wavelengths. That's why I got a white blade. You could get it close but not a true purple.

Quite honestly, it's damn near impossible to make ANY other colors when using filters with GB


However, I LOVE using the filters with a white p4 (AS). They work great and the possibilities are endless.

If you got quick disconnects you could get a purple MLS for it.

Thanks for all your replys, the onpy good lee filter mod ive gotten from GB was like a plague teal color, it was kinda cool though, i find i have to add too much dark filter to get purple and you lose alot of light. I will continue to experement.

Oh yeah! forgot about the teal. But yeah that really is pretty much it, from what I have found.

But yes, please share if you make anymore discoveries!!
