Ultrasabers is once again giving away a ridiculous numbers of premium, high quality, feature loaded sabers!  It's time for another AWESOME raffle.  Check out a few of the past raffle winner thread or ask around and I'm sure the winners of any of our previous raffles can attest to the awesomeness of getting your name pulled and getting that free saber in the mail!  This raffle ends on Monday, April 13th, 2015.  What that means is if you enter you will have MUCH less competition than our past raffles which use to last 2-3 weeks.  Higher odds of winning :-)  Which is always good.  Enjoy!  Not to mention we DOUBLED the number of sabers we're giving away!  Which means even HIGHER odds of winning.

Very tempted to enter, especially with that crazy deal of the day.

Pndering what should be my entry saber... Catalyst in SRD, Guardian in GB, Chosen One in BR, Archon in CG, Graflex in GB, or anything else I can think of. All will have Obsidian and silver flash. Can't go too crazy on the bells but some I can. Hardly see any Catalyst love like at all but seeing some of the blade holders still makes me kinda nervous about that saber but still love the regal look of it. I'll decide by Wednesday because it looks like I'll finally be able to participate in one for once

Got it figured out. Graflex SE for a used Clone Wars type look, Consular Green, silver flash, Obsidian, bronze buttons. Its what I love about Ultra Sabers is that you can make any saber your own =] I'm gonna try for it Wednesday and hopefully this will get me in and that I don't forget to enter the code before check out this time x.x Total is like 372 for mine so should get me in for one of the lower tier prizes at least

Lower prize tiers? I thought it was minimum spen of 250 that got you a raffle ticket. Not sure I understand

The minimum spend (excluding freight) gets you a ticket for a chance at wining 1 of 40 prizes (per ticket) the tier of prize you get comes down to luck :)

Shipping and tax not included in the 250usd tag. You have to spend a minimum of 250usd on saber or sabers alone(with or without  the various add ons to the saber eg, FoC, obsidian sound board with av illuminated switch, recharge port, so on and so forth)

I just bought my Guardian, so I'll have to wait for the Summer raffle, if there is one.  I'm happy with my free Initiate, though!

Definitely that! An early Flamberge snuck out in the last lot of prizes, there's been a tonfa, a couple of curved Reapers, early looks at the v4s and the Menace... I'm not sure what else can be left, but it'll be cool to see what we'll be spending our money on in a few months time ;)

Yea, her's in VA is very nice....... I think I really like the green av too, that is going  to look really nice on the reaper body....... My son recently ordered a Guardian Pommel, it works so well on lots of different hilts, thing is his arrived with the Scorpion hole pattern on the vented part not the drill hole pattern that the Guardian Pommel pic shows...... I'm only mentioning that in case you are fussy about things like that, he actually likes it better.....  :)

Drahcir, just to check but I assume you've chosen the MHS Guardian pommel? It's got a slimmer top to sit flush on hilts that don't have sleeves. (It's the default option, so I'm sure you have, but just wanted to be sure!)

I've been wanting the Azure Menace badly since they were introduced.  I've ordered it preset to Arctic Blue, but I'm eager to see it with other colors too particularly the 100% white channel which I think is supposed to be the same as Adegan Silver.

My first raffle and hopefully it goes well. I purchased a sentinal v4 stunt saber staff in SRD and SY,a grab bag saber with heavy grade blade in FO,and also purchased an extra heavy grade blade because my family will be dueling a lot once we all get a saber of our own. We already got v3 and v4 dark initiates for my girls in GB and VA both stunt and a Reaper in BR with sound for myself but I'll i a grab bag stunt when dueling. Wife thinks she needs a staff to fend off me our littlest one. She takes after her daddy and is a sith in training...

A point to you.  I must confess I am thinking about something very out of the ordinary.  I've already placed an order for the Azure Menace.  I'm tempted to place a second order for a Crimson Menace and a vented coupler so that I can make an Azure / Crimson Menace staff.  To make it even more extraordinary, I'm thinking to set the Azure Menace blade color to Blazing Red and the Crimson Menace blade color to Guardian Blue! ;D

You're right I should get a Catalyst. :P

I can never pick a color for it though.  Most sabers have a color that I feel "fits" them for me (although some hilts like the Bellicose and Prophecy look good in any color IMO) but there is no color for the Catalyst that jumps out at me.  It's the hardest part about deciding on this saber

Nah, generally when I choose a color for a saber, in my mind that is it's color.  I do have QD's on a couple though, just in case. :P

Heck I bought a second Prophecy just because I had to have one in BH and GB! (I love my Prophecy hilts)

Prowl, my son has an Emerald Catalyst that he keeps in a colour close to DVA........ looks sensational........  :)

Or you could go with a 2ch Emerald...... That way you can get a pulse or flicker going too..... ?

I would have to recommend emerald too.  You can play around with it until you find your color and I love setting mine up with flicker effects.  It makes it that much more realistic.

For my first saber I am getting it with emerald. Just because I cannot decide which colour I like best. This will allow me to see all the other colours and judge what iwant with future purchases. Seemed the easiest way i  the end.

I actually have a better name in mind.  After I went to bed last night, I had an inspiration.  Azure Menace combined with Crimson Menace each with an Adegan Silver blade.  Red, White, and Blue colors for none other than Captain America!  I would call it the Captain America Lightsaber Staff!

Well, I did it.

Ordered a B+G Emerald Reaper with Sound.
Plan to swap out the Emitter with a Dark Menace and the Pommel with the Guardian.

I've only purchased one Saber from you guys and that was back in October, best purchase i've ever made. Figured I would start off with the Initiate V3 without sound, in a ultraedge blade with the Guardian Blue LED. I'm sure everyone that's purchased one here can recall the moment where they got their very first saber in the mail, taking it out of the box and holding it in your hands. I imagine it's what having a child is like. But i've been more than satisfied with them so far. So i'm going to have to ditch out on paying my license ticket for another couple weeks and buy one for the raffle. I was thinking of the Manticore with sound this time obviously, in blazing red with a couple features. I dont plan on using it for dueling very much so my question to you saber senior buyers, would the Ultraedge heavy grade lessen the LED look at all throughout the blade, or should I stick with the Ultraedge? I appreciate any and all feedback!

The heavy grade does have a noticeably dimmer colour over a long blade that the standard ultraedge, but this varies by length. A 40" blade, it's pretty noticeable, 36", not so much, 32", go with either.

 With Blazing Red, ultraedge looks awesome, so long as you're not in bright light at the time. Midgrade and heavygrade look better in red under those conditions, the whiter plastic of ultraedge goes a bit pastelly and pink unless you're in the dark.


 That being said, in the dark ultraedge looks better (in my opinion), so again, choose based on what you'll use it for ;D

My entries should be coming in today. I've seen some raffle prize unboxing videos and from what I can tell they have received both their entry sabers and prize sabers in the same packaging altogether. Can someone who's won before explain how this process works? Also if hypothetically I was to win a prize will I have to pay separate shipping costs since my entry sabers are being delivered today?

Yeah, the Initiate and whatever else you buy would all be shipped together - at least, that's always been my experience when they've been doing raffles and giveaways.

PS - I can't say enough good things about the look of your new v4 lineup.  You guys have truly set the bar this time for "Elegance in Simplicity ".  Too many Sabersmiths overdo it and the results are - I think - busy looking, and sometimes gaudy.

Thanks! As far as the dating thing goes -without pushing her into anything, I'm hoping to use the sabers & Star Wars to get her interested in self-defense.

Streaming "Clone Wars" is my go-to for background noise / entertainment when doing home improvement or housework- Hoping as she grows, she'll latch on to Ahsoka Tano.

Then I can start teaching her Staff & Swords with an occasional Krav Maga move somehow mixed in at a really young age when they are sponges.

To her - she'll just be role-playing "Ahsoka " with Daddy - but she'll actually be learning a lot.

Then hopefully she'll want to continue when she's older.

That's the master plan - hopefully it works!

( But I'll still be sure to be running through forms with something real & menacing when boys come over . . . )

Just bought my first Ultrasaber very Excited and I did enter the raffle fingers crossed. Found Ultrasabers through a couple of other fellow 501st members that I troop with was very impressed with how there sabers looked. I am gonna join Rebel Legion and working on my Jedi 😃

I know. I would enter as well, if they put the Initiate LE V4 with sound on DotD. I've already got half the money saved for it anyway. I want one with all the bells and whistles.

I just found this out when the Manticore CE was just up on the DoD. Even if a saber is offered without sound on the DoD, you can still orderit with. However, the DoD doesn't typically offer that much of a discount. It's usually a percentage of the basic stunt version for whatever saber is up.

But I would be paying about $10.00 less and since I want it in SY it would be like getting a standard color. I am such a cheapskate.

I just ordered SY. Funny ol' world, ain't it. Like I've been telling some of the newbs. Don't skimp on the cheap stuff. Basically, if the upgrade is less than $50, don't sweat it, just buy it.

It would also justify ordering an Overlord pommel to put on it as well. Overlord is not in the pommel list.

 My fiance said I could buy one more, and then I was cut off (since she thinks this is a dumb passion), but I didn't tell her about the two I got last month, so I got away with another raffle entry!!! Score!!! On top of that, I got every feature I could. TAKE THAT, SABER HATING WOMAN!

I don't see why. The O-L pommel is pretty much the same as the Initiate V3's. The only difference I can see is that it has sound vents vs just a hole.

I've got two orders I made that are still "Processing". Man, they must be REALLY backlogged if it's taking them a week and they're STILL processing it. o_0 I ordered my Flamberge today, so I'm not expecting it to ship out so soon, but still, dang! I was hoping that everyone had spent their tax returns and there wouldn't be that many entries to the raffle. Wishful thinking.

Were your two orders raffle entries?  I've noticed that raffle entry orders don't ship until after the raffle drawing so that the prizes can be sent out with the original orders.

Is it just me? or, is anyone else dreaming of "what if I am the lucky Emerald WINNER?"...... ooohhh..... A double Emerald Menace SE with GB pulsing to AB and AS FoC, adjustable vented coupler, silver and blue screws...... I'm going weak at the knees daydreaming that  :P

I think you might be right. All of my previous orders that were not raffle entries were shipped out within 1-4 days of placing the order. I placed my raffle entry order on the 31st and I have yet to receive a confirmation that the saber has been shipped out. I just assumed that this had something to do with the raffle.

In the past raffle they didn't work on mine until after the raffle.

That's what I assumed, it makes sense. Though you could potentially have to wait a week or two longer then normal for your saber to be shipped. I'm not upset because I understand the logic behind waiting to send out the orders entered into the raffle, but I do think that it should be mentioned somewhere in the raffle announcement post that if you enter into the raffle your order may not/wont be shipped until the raffle drawing just for a heads up to a customer who may be expecting their saber to come sooner. It works for me, but I could see how it could cause a problem for someone else.

Yeah they usually ship sabers out after the raffle, the prize saber usually comes with your entry saber(s)

Still deciding between the Menace, Catalyst, and Dark Prophecy.  I'm leaning towards the Dark Prophecy in BR.  The raffles always get me so excited!

Ah man. I've had my order setup in my wishlist waiting to push that add to cart button for almost a month. Trying to wait for a raffle to pop up and when it did I immediately purchased my sabers I've been hanging on to. It was on the 31st and my order got here 3 days later. I hope that doesn't mean they will overlook my  entry  ??? Makes sense to save money and ship them out at the end of the raffle and I would gladly have waited if it ment a chance to receive a prize saber.

Send an email to Emory.... Mine has been on hold for a month, with about another month to go.... Waiting on the silver claws.....

You should be able to order the saber with the silver claws (Adding a note in comments), but check with Emory first..... Otherwise, you'll miss the raffle....

Check your order mail to make sure the code is listed on there, if not then e-mail Emory to ask if you can be added. I'm sure it just means that you ordered early enough, and live close enough, that they shipped your order out, though.


In my experience it's always been within 24 hours - sometimes they do the draw pretty much straight after midnight, sometimes later in the day.

You can also look at your account, pull up the order for review.... If it shows a -.01 discount, that's your entry...

Mine was ordered on day one and shipped a day or so later.... Wife's order (a week later) is pending....

I've already got the first half of a CE staff. But I took a look at the Dark with black underlay. MMM. Money-bags Qui-Lar already bought that idea. He said it looks as good as I envisioned. Gonna have to get 2 staffs now.

Well, I decided to join everyone else in the raffle!

I've ordered a Sentinel, Adegan Silver silver blade, silver AV switch - even the flash on clash will be Arctic Blue.

I'm a sucker for all-silver hilts, and happy to rave about my Dark Sentinel, so this order combines two of my favourite things. Really, the only question was whether to have a lit or unlit switch, but lit seems right this time.

It's funny - normally I'm a traditionalist.  To me - I'd never get a Graflex with anything except Arctic Blue blade & Silver FOC, etc.

So my natural inclination would be a Menace CE Staff in Blazing Red.

But the hilt just looks so incredible in Black; it's definitely my favorite UltraSaber yet.

Can't wait to get one!

The simplicity of the hilt is what most appeals to me, so this one will be kept absolutely as standard :)

I realise as I post this that I forgot to specify a silver covertec wheel. I'm sure they're not going to put a gold or black one on, though. I never remember to choose a colour, and I've always found they use a suitable match.

Cool choices!  I'm Really curious to see a Sunrider blade in person.  I almost ordered my Dominix v4 Stunt with it last night - but my other sabers are Blue and Green - so I went Blazing Red instead.

I have to admit though - I am totally OCD about Canon designs (my love of the DARK Menace aside) - so I could only ever get a Chosen One CE in Red.

Can't wait to see pics of that all silver saber, James!  I think I will like my dark sentinel, the pics of it look fantastic!  It's great to see everybody posting their entry saber stats!  Some great sabers getting purchased.  I especially want to see pics of that crimson scorpion in Bane's Heart!

I just received my raffle entry of a BR scorpion with Obsidian sound and Orange Flash on Clash. Beautiful saber hilt and sound resonance, it's just a shame something went wrong with the sound font upload and now the computer doesn't pick up the saber's connection >.<
Looking forward to seeing the raffle wins tomorrow though :) I wonder if anyone will pick up some prototypes. If I'm lucky I might get something to play with if I have to send the scorpion back.  ;)

A) How'd you get yours already? I was under the impression that Raffle entry orders wouldn't ship until the Raffle was over. Hope you entered everything correctly.
B) Sometimes your board will get overwhelmed. Just pop the batts out to reset your saber and try again.

Really? I'm pretty sure I followed the required steps:
1: order was over $250 (around $350 to be exact)
2: I added the raffle entry coupon
3: I entered my forum handle into the notes section of the order
4: ordered it on friday and it came to me on monday

What did I miss?
As for the batteries, I've done that, taken them out, left it to fully charge, left the saber for a few hours, and still have issues. The computer just doesn't want to recognise that I plug the saber in anymore; there's no beep-boop sound specifying I plugged it in and it's not in my devices list. The lights still work and the flash on clash there's just.. no sound(as it interrupted while uploading new ones).

Sounds like you followed every step. Now I'm peaved. I ordered on the 3rd, and I still don't even have a shipping confirmation yet. Maybe it's an omen that I won. :o

Have you tried turning the saber on before plugging it in?

From my experience, which was about year and a half ago, if you order near the start of the raffle they will ship your order like normal.  If you order near the end, say a day or two before the raffle ends, they will wait and ship your order with your prize (if you win).  It has been a while since I won one but that's the way it worked back in my day.  :P


Were they out of the office at a con or something? 

That would highly explain why my order is still processing and still not out yet. Hopefully I win something coz i paid for priority shipping (3days) and wanted it to be sent out asap (order confirmed 2 days ago on the 12th). Wouldnt make sense if it would be sent as if its economy shipping (6 days).  Hope this comment of mine doesnt offend anyone. Just stating what I feel right now :-\

(P.s its 01:18am 14th april on my side of the world. I think im at least 12 hours ahead of us timing)

I've done that, it just wont work but I don't understand, maybe the connection of the board to the usb connector is fried? Mind if I PM you about this? I got a message from deep that I shouldn't discuss it here so I'd like to honour his request! OOh perhaps you have won :) though I did get my last order before the end of the autumn raffle so I hope I did enter it correctly both times. I did pay for international priority shipping though, so it could explain why it was so quick.

Have your tried all the ports of your computer yet? DL the latest launcher too? Charge up your batteries? Maybe a new usb cable?

Mine didnt work out the first try. Turns out i was using the old launcher and which I tried all my ports. Had to plug out and restart my com again. Change to a newer usb cable. What turns out to be the error was that 1) out dated launcher. 2) batteries had to be fully charged in order for it to connect.

I hope my case helped you out some what. Anything more, I'm afraid you will have to consult with the pros here or Mr. Emory. Sorry bro.

I'm afraid I tried all that, so I may redownload the same version luancher and try one more time! I thank everyone for trying to help me and apologies for bringing it up, I didn't mean to derail the thread. :) The anticipation for tomorrow is a killer, good luck to all.

Hmmm - I would check your receipt to confirm the Raffle Ticket confirmation is on there and ask Emory too to be sure.

I say this because I JUST asked if I could get mine early (offered to pay any additional shipping cost).  The Saber I ordered for my newborn daughter has a connection to my Dad (long story there) who passed away a year ago.

My Mom is in town visiting us until tomorrow so I wanted her to see it.  Emory said he could overnight it to me this morning- BUT - it would have to removed from Raffle consideration if he did that.

So - I would Triple Check if I were you - hope this helps . . .
