Emotion yet peace

WWW
« on: July 11, 2012, 05:58:40 AM »

I'm thinking of painting some silver designs on my black overlord using Testor paint most likely.

I was wondering if anyone else has done anything like this, not necessarily just weathering your saber with paint, but painting words, or artwork, or designs on it to give it a neat and personal look.

Has anyone done this? Post pictures if you have.

I'm planning on writing the words: Emotion yet Peace in Aurebesh around the bottom of my saber in silver. Does paint work well on the sabers? or is it best left for just weathering purposes.

Thanks guys.  Smiley

Paint works ok if its prepared properly and using the right paint. Also if its not in a high wear and tear area should be fine. You could try using a dremmel to engrave it, but i would practice on spare tube first. I am hoping to try out the engraving, i have seen someone post something they did and it looked great
