Yes this can be done but only if you are experienced in finer electronics and soldering. As LAK has said... US does not make a sound board narrow enough to fit into the v2 sabers. These fit in to the stunt workhorse category. Excellent all round sabers for spinning and dueling as a single or combined as a staff. Almost a blank slate for modifications and customs. 3D printers can make shrouds and other add on's for these sabers in lieu of sound options.
