So, while I wait for my other entry and my prize (can't wait!), I'll start the thread for pictures of not just prizes, but entries, too.  Yeah, even if you didn't win something, we want to see what you ordered as your entry!

I wouldn't say unexciting.  Well, maybe it is to others, but as someone who has done some saber electronics work in the past, an empty hilt can be just as exciting as a loaded one.

Could we have gotten the empty cross guard to do an install with color mixing on all 3 blades?

I can imagine assembling a saber by yourself makes it even more personal/special, cool! I'm one of the lucky raffle winners as well. As soon as my entry and prize sabers arrive I'll be sure to post pictures in this thread and do some more extensive seperate reviews as well.

Mine are supposed to be delivered on Thursday.  Was there a form somewhere I can sign and leave on the door for the driver?  I used to just leave a hand-written note but if there is something more formal I will go with that.

Hi.  You actually want to have this package left outside ?!  Are you allowed to have it delivered to your workplace ? ...because you can arrange for that or a pick up at the shipping depot.  :)

I wish I knew enough about LEDs and drivers to try that.  No, the crossguard portion will be used in the forthcoming light side version of Hauke.  Still need the handle section I'm planning to use, but that's still out of stock.

If you're having it delivered by Fedex, go here:  http://www.fedex.com/downloads/my/forms/signaturerelease.pdf  Print that off and leave it on your door, and that form will count as your signature.  In my experience, by default US requires Fedex to get a delivery signature, so if you aren't there or don't leave the form, they won't leave the package, and after a couple days of trying to deliver it the package gets returned.

What's wrong with your flamberge?  Its so shiny and clean.  Mine looks like I ran it over with a car.

Brand new, out of the packaging.  It won't get worked on until summer, provided I can get the empty hilt I need for the main tube before then.

Yea, she's a beautiful saber. I was surprised when I opened up by box today. I was even more surprised when I cracked her open and seen she had the lithium ion set up, and the v3 sound.  Tomorrow I'm going to post pics of my scorpions in staff configuration, she looks and sounds mean.

I'm with Lord C - the Menace hilts are simply phenomenal.  Congrats again Darth Ominous! . . . and looking fwd to pics of those Scorpions.
 

On what planet is an empty Flamberge SE and an empty Apprentice not an exciting order?  Not any planet I want to live on, that's for sure.  Those are beautiful hilts and I look forward to seeing what you do with them.  (gotta love all that silver)

Well, I'm not quite sure the FedEx guy was ready for me to be waiting for him.  He quickly recovered, though, and handed me that wonderful long box, asked for my autograph, and we went our separate ways.  I tried to contain my excitement as I cut the tape and started dumping packing peanuts into a bag.  Then the sabers themselves started sliding out of the box.  Due to how they were packed and which end I opened, I saw my 3rd place prize first.  Even through the bubble wrap, I could tell it was a Dominix LE V4, due to the wider silver hand grip grooves.  My order included a Dominix LE, but it was the V2, so I knew that wasn't it.  I knew it had to be my prize.  I pulled the sabers the rest of the way out of the box, cleaned up the rest of the packing peanuts, and set about unwrapping things.  I carefully cut the tape on the Dominix LE V4 first, as I wanted to know more about it.  As soon as I unwrapped the hilt and saw that blue button, I got really giddy.  Sure enough, I fired it up and it's Guardian Blue, one of my favorite colors, especially with black hilts.  I unscrewed the pommel and took a look, and it has Li-Ion batteries and a resistor, which is what my prize level called for.  No windows, which is my preference on the Aeon/Dominix V4 anyway, and a midgrade ultra edge blade, perfect for spinning.  I couldn't be happier with this prize.  Thank you Emory Harris and Ultra Sabers!!!  I can't say that enough.  :D

After that excitement, I set about unwrapping my order.  First the Lost Gray stunt, as I already have a couple Aeon V2s, so I know how that hilt feels.  The Lost Gray is excellent.  Beautifully detailed and quite large, perfect for us larger folks with larger hands.  I'm 6'4" tall and lanky, so I have long thin hands that wrap around this bad boy beautifully.  I kept it with the default buttons and a Consular Green LED.  Heavy grade blade, which I'm glad for, as it's quite heavy even without sound.  I'm going to be adding sound later, it just wasn't in the cards (or the bank account) for this order.   Finally, I unwrapped my Dominix LE V2 in Adegan silver.  I picked this hilt to get me to the $250 mark.  I got the color discs because I've been wanting to try them, and because they were what put me at $250.  I was at $248.99 without them, $250.99 with them.  I'm glad I got them, they have some good colors.

Nice!  You got essentially the same 3rd place prize as I did a couple Raffles ago (same color / options), just mine was the Dark Sentinel LE instead of Dominix LE.

It's actually become the saber I grab most often to play around.

Thanks scifidude79! I didn't know if it would turn out a good as it did because sometimes the aluminum is polished differently than the accessories, but it turned out great and pretty consistent! The only thing not silver are the brass knobs on the back, but what can you do. Hmmm, i wonder if they make them in silver...


I'm guessing it's different because of the sound, but I could be wrong. I don't really have a point of reference because the site's pictures only has the soundless pommel. I'm sure it's on the forum some where. I'll take a quick look...

The light shining off of the polished Scorpion claw looks like an actual shaped sub blade.  Neat.

First off my entry which is my new Lost Gray and I'm happy to report that I like it even more than I thought I would ;D  Obs V4, Tri-CG and gold covertec to round out the gold accent theme.







Second place prize is a Crimson Menace :o  The red anodizing is fantastic.  Obs V3, and a nice running coordination of a black latching switch, black covertec and black blade holder with windows. 

The color is SRD, a very unique combination there!  No flash and all red auxiliary knobs.

That looks like a really gorgeous red anodizing.  Congrats, haz.

Wow Hazard, I never really looked into the Crimson Menace, but that thing looks awesome. I really like the LG as well.

I've actually built a Crimson Menace in the Store on several occasions.  I rather like the idea of one with all Black Accents (all 3 knurled screws, switch & blade holder) with an Adegan Silver blade; I think that would be EXTREMELY sharp.

Maybe an idea if you want to eventually move on from the SRD.   :D

Dude, I like your gold theme on the Lost Gray.  That looks fantastic.  And that Crimson Menace is really hot.  Wow, what a prize.  The SRD blade looks really good with the red and black.  :)

The Lost Gray is a win . . . I won't expand on it further today, my eventual review will say all the things :)

The red on the Crimson Menace is way nicer then I would've anticipated.  Even the knurled screws are a perfect match - it's like all of this one hit the bath at the same time.

@ Lord C - the SRD module will eventually be rewired to another color - will need to think on what, SRD is quite unique and was fun to receive it like that.

I have a nice store of knurled screw and the option to swap blade holders between my Menace hilts (that's right - Menaces!)  so the testing of combinations will be a lot of fun.

I really like that gold Covertec wheel with the silver hilt of the Lost Gray. I recently tried this with my Archon 2.1 and have left it that way permanently. Looks spectacular on the Lost Gray - very creative idea! Love that gold theme you did.

I love seeing dark and light side colors being combined, especially blues with red or orange, and that SRD with the crimson red is working sooooo well! Nice prize indeed. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't have expected to get that sweet combination. Very unique. Somebody over there at Ultra Sabers must like ya buddy! 👍🏻  Two of those in a saber staff would be stunning.

Before I fired up the Menace my wife and I were taking bets on what color would come out of it.  She was all over calling orange but I just felt totally stumped.

SRD!  Was not even close to expecting that lol, fun creativity :D

And thank you for the compliments on the gold for my Lost Gray - I had wanted a united feel for all but the activation switch (which I feel all mends together nicely) and I am so happy with how it turned out.  I certainly noticed the gold covertec on your Archon and I love it on there as well 8)

That Dark Liberator is just beautiful. Now I think I want to get one to pair with my regular Liberator in a Yin& Yang style saber staff! Hehehe. Those pommels you chose are wonderfully bold- I love it. What other customizations did you get on your raffle order and/or saber prizes? Looks like on your raffle sabers have something unique going on with the AV switches. Maybe it's the camera angle, but they look good.

Thanks, Lord Bladewraith!   You did help with my Fulcrum decision.  But, I was 90% sure that would be my choice.  There were so many choices to consider, I wanted some testimonials to be sure and you provided that.  So thanks! I really love it.  

The Graflex is fantastic too.  Just in a different way.  It's amazingly comfortable.  It's easy to hold and spin.  It's also surprisingly lightweight.   It's not only iconic, but stunning in appearance and feel as well.  It is loud compared to my others because of the shorter pommel.  But, I actually really like that about it!  It is really impressive to turn it on and let the windowpanes rattle.  :)

I have CG on my Dark Libby.  I got Adegan Silver as my FOC and it looks really great!  I think that is one of the best color combos for FOC.  

So..my upgrades for the Emerald prizes were:

30 inch custom size blades for both, with heavy grade blades and pointed tips.  Recharge ports on both as well

Graflex - Illuminated Sliver AV switch with Blue
Fulcrum - Illuminated Silver AV Switch in white

I did get an illuminated black AV switch on my Prophecy.  It seemed to need some contrast.  But, I think they are beautiful either way.

Big update, for me anyways lol - the smaller cube style pommel I got (in anticipation of owning the Lost Gray) has worked out nicely to reign in a bit of length while holding onto the original styling cues.  Happy I can swap between the two pommels.

Look how close it comes to the Crimson Menace in length now - if not US shortest premium hilt - fun!  ;D

Something else just caught my eye, that particular vented coupler really aligns nicely with the spacing on the grips of the Graflex. This set up is looking more and more artistic every time I look at it.

Nope, Emerald.  The difference you might be seeing is probably from the Archon 3.1 not having Ultraedge blade.

I spent my rewards bucks on ordering a Dark Initiate LE v2 with a Tri-Cree, though.

Yeah, that Ultra Edge makes a big difference, especially on camera.

Is that a Graflex CE?  It looks like it may be.  The color difference between the switch area and the hilt body usually indicates the body is nickel plated.  Even if it's not, that's a beautiful prize.  I like your entry sabers too.  The Catalyst pommels are nice additions to both sabers.  :)

I'm relatively new to the saber community, but have been a big fan of Star Wars, especially regarding Jedi. Anyways, I bought my first grab-bag around X-mas and got a Dominix LE v4 in BR. I was instantly hooked, and I knew I couldn't stop there. Besides, I'm a light-sider, how can I just end with a sithy saber?

So for my recent order I decided to pool with friends to save on shipping. I was able to enter the Winter Raffle and won second prize! Needless to say I was ecstatic, and my group decided to generously give me the raffle saber as a gift.

The Apprentice is so much fun to spin around and I ordered some color discs and LEE filters to play around with color combinations. The length of the hilt and blade is just perfect for me. The Guardian is a beast of a hilt and somewhat difficult to spin freely, so having a lighter saber is great to balance it out.

Speaking of the Guardian, I am just speechless. Obi-Wan has always been my favorite Jedi and blue my favorite color. After having both a red and white saber, I was planning to complete the spectrum with a nice fancy blue saber down the line. It was as if Ultrasabers read my mind. I am forever grateful for everyone at Ultrasabers and all the community members here for helping me make some awesome purchase decisions.

Thanks scifidude79. My son and I enjoy the Apprentices a lot. They have a balanced all-round feel and are really great to handle. I have big hands but have plenty of space for a two hand grip, also due to the extended length by using the Arbiter pommels. The green and red blade colors add an epic vibe to our duels.

The Initiate is also great for my son's smaller hands and also feels comfortable to me as an one handed hilt.

The Scorpion has great grips for a sturdy two handed handle. Probably more difficult to master due to it's size and weight in comparison to my other sabers, but we'll see where practice will leads me ;)

Received my first saber yesterday and the others today! I  will post pictures as soon as I can. Took a bunch with my phone, but I am unable to copy and paste them. Not sure why. Will have to take pictures with my camera and use my computer.

Very excited though! My first time buying sabers. Bought the Lost Gray and Fulcrum set. Lost Gray with a yellow blade and Fulcrum with a guardian blue blade. Won the grand prize and chose an Electrum Wind saber staff with violet amethyst blades. If anyone was considering buying any of these sabers, do it. They are absolutely incredible. Incredible enough that I spent too much time admiring them. Time to work night shift on only an hour of sleep.

Worth it.

SaberForum doesn't store pictures on their servers,  so you can't paste in pictures directly from your phone or computer.  They instead link to pictures stored elsewhere, like on photobucket.com, imgur.com, flickr.com, etc., I think most use photobucket.com. I do.  You can get a free account there (or pay a small yearly fee for an ad free version), upload your picture(s) and then once uploaded, click on the picture for a menu of options to appear on the right. You can click on any of the links that appear to automatically copy them and then paste them here.  In Photobucket the 4th one down called "IMG" is the one to use for reviews like yours and the general posting of pictures in Saberforum message threads, because it automatically appends the "IMG" tags needed to show the picture that the link points to. The 2nd one down, called "DIRECT", is a link for places where "IMG" tags are not used, like your Avatar signature in your SaberForum account profile.  Here's a screenshot that may help:

The batteries for the Lost Gray were completely charged. Hence why it seems so much brighter than the others. I got the others shivered and couldn't be bothered to take the time to charge up the batteries before digging in.

Oooooohhh, I was waiting for this picture, and so worth the wait! This was a REALLY good idea, chastephens! That saber staff looks even better than I imagined it would with two Electrum Winds back to back. Sincere congrats to you, man.

You chose the exact opposite as me on the activation box for the Fulcrum with the silver box and black AV switch and it looks FANTASTIC.

Was a long night, but I made it. Got in about an hour or so of admiring my sabers before going to sleep (my inner child wouldn't have forgiven me otherwise).

The Dark Liberator might seem simple, and I guess that's what I thought before now, but it's VERY comfortable to wield, sleek, and smooth . . . and this new Tri-AB has leaped right to second spot on my favourite blade colours (just behind Tri-CG), its just so rich and full and lush, and its hard to explain but a much more rewarding shade than the standard AB IMO . . . there is a clear difference to me anyway, maybe more cyan than pale light blue . . . I've tried to get a feel of the colour in the second pic, but like all blade colours, you really need to see them in person to really understand them . . . I do have some small plans for some customisation to this hilt, but for the near future I'm going to enjoy its beauty as is . . .  :D

Nice. I like that Guardian Blue Manticore. That looks like a standard Heavy Grade blade to me though, has more of a clear look to the blade even when on of that makes any sense. Unless that's just a reflection off the emitter. Kinda want a regular Manticore in Guardian Blue now over Violet Amethyst :P I don't have me a purple blade yet though

I'm super stoked winning and actually love the liberator since its so easy to handle compared to the electrum wind (I read reviews on how heavy it was but damn that thing surprises me every time i pick it up still). Thank you ultrasabers!
