Received my raffle entry Archon v2.1 yesterday, and thought i'd share a piccy! Very nice saber indeed! Super comfy, great weight and balance to it and seems very sturdy and durable for duels! I'll post a proper review of it up soon on my YT channel  I sprayed part of the neck a gold colour to try and match Luke's ROTJ saber a little more, happy with how it looks! Got it with v4 sound, tri-cree CG, Orange illuminated AV switch and classic pommel. (Excuse my flat mates photo bomb lol)  I also took a couple pics of my saber collection so far From L to R, Sentinel LE v4 in Consular Green, Consular in SRD, Bellicose in tri-cree Guardian Blue, Standard Issue Battle Saber v3 in a custom yellow/orange, Archon 2.1 in tri-cree Consular Green Pretty colours!!!   I've made small modifications to all of them except for my Consular hilt, just to explain all the o-rings, leather wraps and painted sections  Hope you likey! Thank you sir Definitely came out ok. Was a bit sceptical putting paint on to anodized ally... but with a few light coats and some sealer it seems to of taken nicely! |

Copper paint looks good on the emitter =)
You inspired me to go out and buy some copper paint today for my v2.1 emitter (also bought gold paint as a 2nd option, to match the brass v3.1 emitter).

I actually didn't sand off the black! I cleaned it with petrol, then used a standard gold acrylic spraypaint for a couple of layers. Just applied it in short thin bursts so it didn't run and pretty much dried on impact then used an acrylic sealer spray. It's actually taken to the anodized part well! |

Followed your lead and painted my v2.1 emitter to match the v3.1 one: Nice job with the paint! The colour looks practically identical to the Archon v3 you have there! Great collection Lev thank you for the pics. I love the paint on the Archon V2.1 it looks fantastic(it's my favourite hilt ) Point! Thanks! I'd agree that it's possibly my favourite hilt especially for dueling with right now. The blade sits very securely and it's perfect in size for me. How True, Good job on the color match up +1
Also thank you! I was just on the verge of ordering a saber in purple or red, to start bringing some dark side to my collection... i will now be able to do that with a saber won in the raffle  Ordered an Initiate LE v4 in SRD for my girlfriend also, so that'll sit happily with the rest soon! ...the addiction is real. |
