The Light and Fonts on my Saber

I purchased the Diamond Control settings for my saber, I have not been able to change the fonts when I do the movements that the paper it came with tells me to do (stab motion while holding the button and clockwise or counterclockwise twist) and even after looking in the manual for more info, it doesn't work. I can only change fonts if I plug my saber up to my computer and then it will give me only one font at a time even though it says 8 others are enabled as well. Now the light on my saber won't even turn on. Ive changed the batteries, run diagnostics (came out saying no error) and have tried just about everything I can think of but only the sound works now. Any suggestions?
