Wrong. Chemistry is the best subject. Become a chemist. They make fat money.

Exactly. If you life is all about getting money, well then. . . sorry, but your life sucks. I'm not saying that making the most money possible is a bad thing, but it shouldn't be your biggest priority in life. I mean, look at me. I want to do acting, and even though actors often get paid quite a bit (if they are good), that is not why I want to act. Anyways, that is all for now. I'll continue winning later.

Agreed.

Is that what you're going for, Fedora?

why do people sleep at night? We (I?) have math class for a reason.
I was thinking more along the lines of astrophysics

Might I suggest to avoid sleeping in math class if you're going towards astrophysics?  Wink

Never said there where many. Just that it is the best.
No. Chemistry lets you blow stuff up, melt stuff, freeze stuff, burn stuff, and blow stuff up.

Exactly. Everyone has their own opinions and it’s not always about money. Sure, you need to make a living but enjoying what you’re doing and your career choice is equally as important
Read previous reply. What's not to love?

Then you need chemistry for rocket fuel to get you to space. Physics. Cool

Might I suggest to avoid sleeping in math class if you're going towards astrophysics?  Wink
Fully agree. Physics is all math, and I do mean ALL. It merely gives practical application for it.

math comes easy to me. I have one of the highest averages in my Geometry class, and I have a pretty decent grade in chemistry despite my periodic naps.

exactly why I love it.

I can't say anything about math without fitting the stereotype so here it goes anyways.  Math is awesome and is widely use in most careers, I still use it on a daily and with most of my hobbies.  Can't go wrong with Chemistry either since it too involved math

Wait......I think I figured out the problem. Math used to be awesome. But today's kids don't know what the hell real math is because of those socialist retards that thought it was a great idea to change the curriculum to something that has no practical use in the world. Man I'm glad I was educated back in the day when school was for smart people. Grin

exactly! My Geometry teacher has even said that we will likely never use this stuff anyways. Me and the above-mentioned friend have been trying to learn sme actually useful stuff on our own but we aen't having much luck.

Agreed, completely.  I've seen some of this new stuff and was like wtf?  A 4th or 5th grader got a problem wrong when he was asked if he started out with 10 apples and 3 were removed, how much did he have.  He answered 7, the teacher marked it as wrong and said that he would have 7 but 3 for another day... Something along that line, it was retarded

of course! Sophacrotus' Law of Inequal Inequalities. we learned that in seventh grade though, not 4th or 5th.

(This is sarcasm btw, I made that up about 2 seconds ago)

I seriously doubt that geometry has been could be tampered with. If it is the good old method that was taught to me, then it is highly useful. It's my bread and butter.

Teacher is wrong. If 3 were "removed", 7 remain because the collective fate of the removed 3 was not specified. They could have been eaten by a thief, smashed by an elephant, or dropped and destroyed in California wild fire. In which case the answer is 7 apples and 1 of the following: 1 pile of poop, a mess of applesauce, or 3 piles of ash.

Stupid teacher. No wonder kids these days are so dumb.

Funnier still: if you want to see a perfectly rational man utterly lose his $#!%, bring up the subject of CC math to an engineer.

Completely agree with you.  The "math" that they were teaching was really dumb. If someone loses a finger, that doesn't they still have 9 but keep one for a rainy day.  Completely illogical
