Ultra Sabers and Comic Convention Security

I am thinking about attending my very first Wizard World comic convention here in St. Louis, Missouri on Memorial Day weekend.  I want to dress like a Sith Lord and attach my Malice lightsaber to my belt.  Does anyone have any experience in which a convention security officer told them their Ultra Saber was not allowed in the convention hall?  I am particularly curious to know this about anyone carrying a Malice, Scorpion, or one of the Reaper series that have attached claws or claw blades.

Never had an issue, usually they look it over a little before letting you in, but it's obviously a prop.  The claws aren't sharp or don't have an actual edge, so it should be fine.
