I am not a big fan of Sarah Brightman as an opera singer, and that is the only time I have listened to her. She just doesn't have the depth of voice required to be a truly great opera soprano. I just listened to Amelia and agree that I prefer her voice. Her Song to the Moon is just kinda flat. She sounds like someone attempting opera, not one who was trained in it. I saw Ana Maria Martinez perform this and the strength, depth and delicacy that she could achieve was enough to bring one to tears.
