So I watched Master Nero's spinning vids and had to upload some of my own. This first one is a basic single blade saber that I built a few weeks ago called the SBS
http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=6482.0 This saber is built from polycarb and therefore is lighter then alot of other sabers (only by 100 grams or so), allowing for true speed spinning, which is what I do best
I tried to explore all areas of this saber in the video, switching from one hand to two in places (see if you can tell where), and going from speed to accuracy and power in the latter half of the video. I realize it's hard to see my body movements, I'll be sure to upload another video when it's lighter out, and get into some of the acrobatics then
This next saber is one I built for a friend. It's a double bladed sith saber, and while I'm 100% jedi, I haven't finished my double bladed saber yet, so I'll allow myself to demo with red blades for the time being
Staff is where I'm most comfortable and experienced, and this video reflects a good bit of my style in it (though much is lost in the darkness). This is a 7-and-then-some foot staff, and I myself am only 5'8", so I'm slightly out of my element wielding it, thought I can still control it pretty well as compared to my normal 6' bo's.
And yes, I am wearing my jedi robes (though, again, it's probably impossible to tell in the dark)
