This is my first VA saber. It's definitely a beautiful color:

The upper retention screw uses a larger size hex wrench than any of my other sabers:

Arguably one of the most coveted pommels in the saber community. Ultra Sabers did a hell of a nice job recreating their version of it:

I hope you guys like the pics. It's such an awesome saber it's really hard to do it justice until you pick one up. Now the only thing left to do is decide which one I want to get next.

 :o Great Pictures! They make me jealous because I was wanting to order one for the autumn raffle but these pics will have to do until they are back in stock. VA looks great on that hilt as well. Point for you.

Those photos alone are outstanding. I own a Fire Orange Guardian, however; I am incredible jealous over your Violet one. Good choice and excellent photos.

Thank you everyone for your compliments! As I'm sure you can tell, picture-taking is kinda my thing. You're making me want to shoot the rest of my collection in the same style... Maybe I'll do that soon, I've never posted my entire collection before.

I'm a huge fan of the Violet Amethyst colors. My entire Sith Lord outfit is based on the color purple, along with my saber. And I have to say that the Guardian in that color is extremely well matched. I am impressed. Great job on the photos as well.

Those are some REALLY nice pics man, some of the best review pics I've seen in a long time.  I've always felt like blue is the natural pick for that hilt (too biased by canon), but you have convinced me otherwise.  It looks realllllly good in VA, so that was an excellent choice on your part.

Really well done. Please do take more pictures! They look so great! Definitely going to pick up a Guardian in the future.

I used a Canon T3i with primarily the standard 18-55mm kit lens. I also used a Canon macro lens and even a fisheye for one or two of them.

My little brother has that camera. Its a pretty great camera too. Been playing around with the exposure time on it. Maybe need to use it a little more  :D

Way nice saber. The Guardian looks awesome in Violet Amethyst. Great pictures too. This makes me want a Violet Amethyst blade even more now. I think Violet Amethyst will be my next blade color.

The color in the last 2 are really beautiful. They just show how awesome Violet Amethyst really is. Please do take more pics of the rest of your collection, as these are amazing!

That's an awesome gift! It's a really nice camera, I'm sure she'll love it. Make sure to "borrow" it for taking pics of your sabers at some point as well. The 1080p video capture doesn't hurt too much either.

When the Guardian comes back in stock I am seriously considering one in VA because of this thread.

Wow.  Just wow.  That is by far the best pics I've yet seen of VA.  I was on the fence about the color for my next saber, but I think you made up my mind on it!  It looks absolutely amazing on that hilt as well.   I think you just caused US's next run of Guardians to sell out before they arrive!

I love the DVA.  I almost with I got mine in that instead of Blue.  Maybe I will just have to get another :P

QUESTION: I am soon ordering an EMERALD GUARDIAN WITH SOUND.  Here is my query - how long is the Guardian hilt?

Seems to me that I read it was exactly 13" inches, but I cannot find this info anywhere on this site.

Somebody clue me in, and more importantly, SHOW ME WHERE TO SEE THESE STATS...

Hey there, DDV - I just received my Guardian in Dark Violet Amethyst and those camera shots are pretty amazing to show this handsome devil's best features. I love mine.

I just measured mine and it's actually 13 1/4 inches long.  Congrats on getting one, especially with EMERALD on it. You won't regret it.

I think that out of all of my sabers the Guardian(s) has to be my favorite.

Simply gorgeous saber. VA goes spectacularly with it, great choice.

From one Guardian Owner to Another.  Well done on that setup.  VA is Awesome and its gorgeous on the Guardian.  I got my initial Emerald setup in DVA when I ordered mine and know how it feels to have that non-canon setup.
