Also, maybe some sort of quick release/attach for blades? I know that's probably been tossed around a lot, but it would be interesting to see some form of a lock that could be attached to the blades.

sorry for double post, modify button was missing.
I've noticed a lot of people ask about "samurai sabers" and things of that sort and it got me thinking. Is it possible to make a blade like the saber blades, shaped like a katana blade? If so, then I'd strongly suggest making at least ONE katana spin-off saber. Give it the highly requested leather wraps, katana shaped hilt and guard, and maybe even it's own font? Something that is still saber, but a bit more metallic to show an actual blade. Just an idea. Or just a saber with that blade as an option. Hell, just make that blade, giving it a circular base to fit all sabers! NO clue what work that would require.

Recently I sold an aeon in eBay to make funds for a saber with sound, but if I wasn't able to I was going to drill a hole in a phoenix design tsuba I have and attach it to the hilt, then get some braided silk and wrap it around the hilt. Would have looked awesome.

For something simple, I'd like to see an option for the Aeon/Phantasm with black anodizing in the rings instead of gold for a LE and gold anodizing for the Dominix/Phantom in the rings instead of silver. I know you can accomplish the same thing with O-rings, but I think it would look a lot better if it was anodized. I wouldn't want to replace the existing LE options, just make new ones for black LE rings for the Aeon/Phantasm and gold LE rings for the Dominix/Phantom.

i wouldnt mind seeing an obi-wan kenobi ROTS inspired lightsaber to go along with the Guardian hilt ? Or perhaps a starkiller TFU 2 inspired hilt |

^Force Unleashed 2 is closest to the bellicose. And the Arcon V2.1 is actually really close to ROTS.

liking the Ashoka saber idea  Maybe when ultrasabers plan to annouce new sabers they could do perhaps a poll of say 5 sabers for example and then say the 3 with the highest votes will go on to be constructed ? |

I think someone meant ROTS / ANH Obi hilt, being similar to the Archon. lol The AOTC / TPM hilt would be the Guardian.  Actually, I find the Archon more of a Luke ROTJ and the Arbiter to be more Obi ROTS / ANH, save that it's MASSIVELY longer. lol I too would love to see a Tano hilt and a more thin necked Obi style saber, perhaps with a box option? |

Lukes ROTJ was supposed to be based on Obis i still think the archon is the closest design personally, but i can see where you're coming fro. with the arbiter
