As a d-ring fan... I've used all three positions. The emitter end, in place of the cover tech knob, and on the pomel. It is really up to pertional preferance or in my case the sabers designe. But as far as the d-ring using the same screw as the covertech it dosent work the screw is just slightly too long. I used the screw that was in the speaker mount its about the same size as the one used for the bellacose blade hloder retension screw. I'm defenatly a vote for d-rings And more mhs parts.

Thanks for the reply Relan. BTW...why the preference for the d-ring? I have sabers with both the d-ring and with the covertech. I find the covertech is easier to remove from the clip with one hand. The d-ring isn't bad, just a bit more difficult to unhook one handed. I was just wondering why the d-ring preference. Thanks.

Well I've never had a problem with removing d-rings one handed. I don't know I just find them more confortable than the covertech they always seam to be in the way of my hands when gripping the hilt.

I have a D-ring on the pommel of my Initiate v3 that I customized. I found that it was hard to remove with one hand with a d-ring holder that clips on to the belt but when I riveted one to my belt (ROTJ Luke-style) it's very easy to pull off. Guess it depends on the hanger. Granted if I stood on my head it might fall out but I can't think of a time I'll be upside-down.

Yoda wouldn't have wasted his time with me. I'm reckless and stubborn. Why didn't Yoda ever check Luke's midichlorient count? Lmao sorry. Since this is the suggestions thread: More customization add-ons like leather for hilt wrapping Different button options even on stunt sabers (AV, recently discussed) Square buttons A switch or slider for activation instead of a button Thumb screws (yes I know, I've said that before) Corroded/weathered/burnt finish? Ultrasabers merchandise

I like your list. Let me put my vote in for thumb screws. I would really like to be able to remove my blade without a tool. Some of the designs need a low profile set screw, but a lot of them would look good with a thumb screw

That's alright I just had an idea for comicon goers a battery charger that plugs and locks into your recharge port no more 6 bajillion spare batteries just a charger that looks like an activation box and has no cord:).

This is a great idea! I currently don't have a recharge port on any of my sabers, but maybe I'll get a couple upgraded eventually.

That is a great idea. Do they make chargers that small?? I would definitely be ordering one if it became available!

An iffy but update info and pics on the regular store front Shock saber with the new pommel and such. Also for a new red color if possible, how about Ruby Red? Since we got a lighter green and blue, and purple even, why not a deeper red, oh and a darker orange. Would be cool. Just an idea though.

Big. Giant. Blade. Seriously, I use a greatsaber from time to time and it would be great to see an even larger blade option than 40 inches.
