Well, the only one I can think of would be having all the sabers have the ability of having BOTH Emerald and Sound. For example, the very popular Prophecy and Dark Prophecy.

So you mean like the V4 Line. So you want a V4 Prophecy. Still no new features demanding a new line. Simply updating a V3 so it can have V4 options. I agree that to start V5, there would have to be a new significant option.

I dig it, but on the other hand, I really like my Dom LE v3. It's basic but sturdy. Nothing wrong with it, and I don't think the v3 line needs replaced. But more v4 variants would be kinda cool.
I actually prefer the V3 line of Aeon/Dominix/Initiate over the V4 line. My V3 hilts look nice and the choke points are setup perfectly. |

I could see a V5 range that adapts either a new Emerald v2 driver that is more integrated with the Obsidian for more color changing features that could be linked with the sound changed already in the Obsidian v4.
Or have the V5 range be smaller diameter hilts made possible by making smaller boards, or changing the battery placement to inline rather than side by side. This could allow sound for the remaining v2 line sabers (with new pommels of course) or support a slimmer hilt allowing for production of hilts inspired by the hilts owned by the characters: Mace Windu, Ashoka Tano, Palpatine, or Yoda. Or allowing for a smaller version of the Guardian to be produced. Though I don't see them producing a thinner polycarbonate blade for safety reasons, a three-quarter inch blade might needed for the smaller hits,

No. If you look at the dates of the OP, you'll see that these have been up for quite some time. Some have been stickied, so they stay at the top. Others keep getting posts with comments or questions, which bump them up. Always, always look at the OP date. |

Those threads have been, what we call "necro-posted". The original subject is now old news, but people bring them back up when they have questions about a specific saber model. I was more to the understanding that the Renegade was the last model released. |

I would think the Kylo Ren or crossguard sabers would definitely be on the newest saber list. Maybe I will email them. I already asked them if they had anything new coming out few weeks ago. Especially Ahsoka or Windu inspired. They said they couldn't tell me.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but what does it matter which is the newest hilt? And, do you honestly expect them to tell you what they may or may not be coming out with? |

It really doesn't matter how young or old a design is. If it is listed on the web site, it is available for purchase. Now some models my be currently out of stock, but they will be replenished. So then it comes down to your individual degree of patience on how long can you wait for the saber you want most. Again, a Tano hilt is in development. The prevailing rumor is that it should be released sometime this year. "All other information on your level is restricted." Just wait for the surprise.  |
