Seeing you practice all the time is great but it also makes me feel a little ashamed about not practicing often enough. Yesterday was nice for the season but I was too exhausted after work to go out for even a short spinning session. I must try to find options for this winter so I don't end up out of shape when spring comes. Anyway, keep up the good work

Yeah, whar Deca said. Thanks SFD. I'm getting into the harder stuff now Seeing you practice all the time is great but it also makes me feel a little ashamed about not practicing often enough. Yesterday was nice for the season but I was too exhausted after work to go out for even a short spinning session. I must try to find options for this winter so I don't end up out of shape when spring comes. Anyway, keep up the good work Thanks, Crue. Just give it a few minutes here and there throughout the day if you can. They add up. When I get frustrated with not getting down a move, I stop for a bit and then try again which helps to clear my mind. Get some spinning in when you can, that's what I always tell myself. If you can only do it for a short period of time, still do it. Thanks as always, fellow Aeonix Order Knight! Some early morning Reverse Grip practicing. The Reverse Grip upward wield is no joke, it feels funny and you really have to watch yourself doing it to know that it looks right. Otherwise, from your point of view, it looks really goofy.
Starting to combine my moves together. Please excuse the roughness and me messing up here and there, still learning and practicing.
Of course, special thanks to Master Elwood, Venturous, and Resolute for their direction in my journey. Huge special thanks to Darth Cephalus for getting me started with his training videos. Special thanks to Samhain for taking me under his wing and taking time out of his busy days to help train me and teach me new techniques, improving my form, and just wanting me to be the best that I can be with this. And also, for more lessons to come. He knows his stuff and a lot of these moves, he makes it looks really easy. The guy is not human, he's a machine. Futuristic alien machine at that More videos to come of course.

Looking great, bro. You're chaining moves together nicely. That reverse grip is looking sick so far too.

You actually practice what I show you so I'm not having repeat myself too much. Keep at it, the Spin Wars are soon and you will be ready if I have anything to say about it.

Thanks, Gumby! Have one back! Looking great, bro. You're chaining moves together nicely. That reverse grip is looking sick so far too. Thanks, SFD. Still trying my best and I'm just skimming the surface after watching what Sam can do. I'll try following your advice as soon as I find some spare time.

At your leisure. I always make excuses to pick mind up whether it's for 15 minutes or for 5. Have one back, brother! Shhhh don't tell everyone I'm helping LMAO.

I had to show appreciation and give you your due respect, Sam. My apologies if I put the spot light on you in any way. Thanks, I've never thought that I would be good enough to even be in the Spin Wars and now, that's one of my goals thanks to you!

Thank you my fellow Knight of the Aeonix Order Lately, I've been making excuses for other things that matter to me greatly but I used to make them for spinning as well (though I admit it was easier in spring than it is now )

Understandable, family stuff first and everything else afterwards. You'll find the time when it's best for you Working on a new sequence with the Reverse Grip last night
The non-dominant side
Working on more of it early this morning
I had to stop after spinning for about 30 minutes this morning since I started to overthink and mess up mid spin.

I ran out of room to embed my videos and had to do another post. Apparently, there's a limit to embedding videos per post Reverse Grip Hand Passes
While I was practicing, I decided to do some slight movements switching from one direction, to the other. Still rough around the edges

With the amount you've been posting I'm not surprised you reached a limit I'll need a while to find the time to watch them all...

Haha, I forgot to upload the first four last night and then after my warm up while I was looking at where I left off, I noticed those videos still sitting there. Please do and take your time.

Video 49 - Reverse Grip to a Flourish. You know I love all your videos, but that one was extra smooth to me. I can see it all coming together. I think that was the most precise and most effortless I've seen you. When you do downward wield figure eights your forearm stays at 90 degrees from your body and your upward wield is right at shoulder height just like the front flourish. I don't know what Sam or other Master Level spinners would say about any of that, but it jumped out at me as making it look tighter and grabbing my attention more than usual. You've been putting in serious work and it shows. I'm sure getting help from Sam doesn't hurt at all either.
