Title: Tightening the claw on the Scorpion
Post by: jethroebird on April 24, 2020, 10:50:33 AM
Hey, I recently just got my first saber 3 days ago and it is amazing!

I've been practicing basic spins outside to get a feel for it, however I drop it quite often on the grass. Although, I dropped it so many times that the claw is beginning to come loose. Is there anyway I can re-tighten it?

Also, sightly off-topic, is there a way to stop the saber from flashing blue-white-red-green (I think were the colours) after performing certain movements? I am worried that it might give mum a seizer and I would hate for the saber to be the cause. :(

Anyway, thank you for your time and in advance for any help. It is greatly appreciated! :D

The claw can be tightened through the windows in the upper hilt. Just remove the blade and look through the windows you will see the two screws that hold it. The correct size is 3/32. Using metric may damage your screws. It is easiest done with a ball end hex wrench due to the sharp angle to reach the forward screw.

If you have Emerald or Diamond controller you should be able to adjust out the flash issue you have.
