Just thought Id list the the default settings the Diamond controller comes pre-loaded with.
1. Default Obsidian font- customer color choice. This is what they program in based on your choices you picked when buying.
2. Blackstar font- Sentinel Yellow blade color
3. Sith font- Blazing Red blade color
4. Ancient Saber font- Fire Orange blade color
5. Episode 1 font- Guardian blue blade color
6. Episode 2 font- Arctic blue blade color
7. Episode 4 font- Sunriders Destiny blade color
8 Episode 5 font- Violet Amethyst blade color
9. Episode 6 font- Consular green blade color
10. Muted(no sound)- Adegan silver blade color.
These are all available right out of the box by simply holding the power button with the saber on and twisting your wrist to the right twice to enter the onboard menu. Further rightward rotations cycle through the font/color banks. Once on the bank you want, press the power button to select it and the saber exits the menu on the new bank. No need to hook up to a computer, these are all pre-installed on the saber.
Also, all colors besides the customer picked first one come default with silver FOC/Lockup

I have more than one RGBW so my next saber was going to be RGBA, now with the new board I'm scared I won't like RGBA. Plus now I'm leaning toward the Archon 2.1 and I'm not sure about the led choice.

Really nice information. I wouldn't mind just having this board and not customizing it at all (but of course, if I had one the first thing I'd do is costomize it so...). Those are some great combos. Have a point Gorobulus.

I don't think he meant how it will work with Diamond . . . just making the Financial commitment and realizing he likes RGBW better than RGBA. Jediseth - You've probably heard us say this before, but the choice comes down to this: How much are you going to use Adegan Silver as a main blade color? If the answer is "Some " to "Often", then you want RGBW. If the answer is "almost Never" to "Never", you definitely want RGBA. I haven't been able to color mix an Adegan Silver on RGBA that is as nice as a White LED no matter how hard I've tried. It is perfectly fine, however, for FOC. But the Amber die does give you MUCH richer colors in the Red through Yellow mix spectrum. Just mixing Red & Green seems a bit . . . I don't know, Neon-y or something to me. Adding Amber makes it a lot WARMER. Much nicer tone. In particular, I've always loved this color I call Gold using RGA @100%: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=24513.msg367833#msg367833 To my eyes, that looks a lot nicer than the standard R+G Sentinel Yellows you see on here. That's my opinion, anyway! Best wishes on your final choice! |
