Title: Mail in conversions...
Post by: Xaelk on January 08, 2011, 04:30:53 AM
...for TCSS shells? Ive really been searching for that perfect first saber (because the Luke saber i got when I was 6 and the countless other toy sabers i have gotten for sentamental value after the others were lost dont really count :D), and would really like the ability to make my own saber as a base (without electronics), but ive been forum lurking for a very long time, and you guys (Ultra Sabers) seem like the best in the business in both your product quality and customer service.

There's no need for a mail in service for that.  All you have to do is tell us which MHS parts you want (they are numbered) and we can order them and build the saber for you.  It will save you quite a bit in shipping costs.  We only charge the cost of the parts plus 10% for labor.

So, this is a bit of a necropost, but I had an additional question and didn't see the need to make another thread for it. What would the price be to build a saber and then have US install a blade/LED in addition? Based on the price differences between DIY blades and their fully functional counter-parts I estimate between $30-$50, but wanted to get definite figure. Still deciding which direction I want to go, but I'm definitely excited to get my first saber whether it's made of MHS parts or an US model.

does anyone know anywhere else to go to get a mail in conversion? My buddy wants to convert his fx saber into a dueling saber and I saw that US no longer does them.
