would anyone weather my saber not just throwing it in the dirt but actually weathering it. was thinking about the sentinel saber and other sabers

Additionally, if you feel comfortable with painting, Darth Rifter also offers a tutorial on drybrushing that I used to do my own. Smiley  He teaches you (IMO) all that you need for that technique, which I believe works best on dark hilts.

I had never done drybrushing before, and I was generally quite pleased with the results I got on my Flamberge from following his instructions.
