OMG. It arrived this morning, 8 am local time; after almost 9 agonizing days (normal). My wife told me in no uncertain terms, "you will open that box before I go to work." Yeah, she's an Ultra Sabers fan-boy...ette too.  The box end I slit open with my shaky, knife-wielding hand revealed a white blade tip. Score #1...Saint's 1st UltaEdge blade! As I started to pull up on the blade, I noticed an un-typical amount of heft hanging below. Continuing, the rising bubble wrap started to widen...revealing the blade tips. Score #2...Malice!!!! Completing my withdrawal, this bad boy was sporting a silver activation box (Score #3!). Couldn't bear the delay with swapping out the batteries for some freshly charged ones from my tickle trunk, so I fired 'er up for a couple seconds. A beautiful, solid, Violet Amethyst...with Red AV...and of course that delicious Obsidian hum. THANK YOU Ultra Sabers for a MOST GENEROUS 1st-place raffle prize. Pix (hopefully) later today. Holy crap Saint, nice! Yeah, i priced my Guardian too, $349 before shipping. US is awesome for sending so many of these as prizes. Especially since they added 4 Obsidians and 1 stunt w/ Li-Ions to the raffle when they announced the winners. That's 4 more $200+ sabers and another $90+ than they originally said they'd be sending out.
And hey, Knight's GP got sent out. Very cool.

My saber arrived today! It got in around threeish in the afternoon. My Mother texted me, but I was unable to get home until about eleven at night. I could barely stand the wait knowing it was at home. They are immensely more beautiful than I ever imagined. I am unable to express the measure of my gratitude to Emory and Ultrasabers. Thank you so much, and not only for the prize, but for all you do offering the best lightsabers I have ever seen on the market at prices that are simply a steal. Unfortunately, the magic show that kept me away from my sabers today is happening tomorrow. Thus, I must get some rest so that I'm at my best for the show, but I promise to take photos and do a video review as soon as I am able. (I already had my new sound fonts ready to download a few days before my sabers arrived.)

Nice extension on the Monarch. And i love the signed Malice. So epic!
Having issues with doing my raffle entry/prize reviews. I just ordered a (supposedly) 720 HD capable webcam that will hopefully (along with my laptop) allow me to do vids indoors and outside and i'm hoping that with the design of the camera's base and a stack of lawn chairs i'll be able to fix my camera positioning issues outside. Trying to use my smartphone's camera is finally getting on my nerves.
