What is your favorite saber Ultrasabers has to offer and which ones are you eyeing to buy next?
Personally i'm looking at the: Prophecy-Tri Arctic Blue, Dark Prophecy - Tri Silver

Probably my favorite saber is the either the Scorpion or the Dark Mantis, although there are so many great sabers on here that it is very hard for me to chose one.  My next saber however is going to be a Dark Initiate LE v4 Emerald with premium sound.  I will get it in Hot Pink, mostly because this will look awesome, and there are not that many people who buy Hot Pink sabers, but I'm sure I will change to color all the time.

I have 6 so far with 1 one more on the way, and while that one (the Graflex CE in TRI Arctic Blue with Obsidian V4) could change my answer that I give now, for now my favorite is the Electrum Wind.  Of course, it's the first and only saber I've purchased with the Emerald Driver, so that's certainly part of it, but I really like the feel of this hilt in my hands and the accents it has all over it.  It's a beautiful piece of art.  My second favorite is probably my Consular, because it does so well morphing into other sabers by removing the shroud, adding different emitters and/or pommels and changing the color with quick disconnects.  My third favorite is my Dark Prophecy in TRI Arctic Blue.

Next?  Well, I think for sure I'm going to try to get two Menace's with a quick-connect coupler in either the CE or Dark version.  Probably Emerald for sure on those.  Then a Guardian, also in Emerald.  The Scorpion and eventually Mantis are both on my mind, too.

Favorite?  I'd have to go with the Consular.  I absolutely love that design.  The black and silver is classy.  I love the details.  I don't own one yet.  My next purchase will be an empty hilt, a Dominix V2 or V3, so I can do a DIY build.  It's going to have a blue blade.  :)

I love my Consular. I'll admit to maybe swinging my niece's Initiate V4, I love the size of it. I like the look of most Ultrasabers, I just wish more were so comfortably sized.

There are so many I love the look of, trying to pick one out of all of them is just impossible.

I have a couple of ideas for new projects, and cobbling something unique together out of various hilts, but off the shelf the one I have been looking at most recently is the Dark Prophecy in Tri-Green, although I just got some Lee filters, so tempted to go Tri-AS and change up the color as I feel like...  LR's Dark Manticore is very attractive, and wouldnt mind doing something similar. Some of Calculons work makes me want to go tiny and see just how much can be crammed into something real small. All in all I'm more interested in the more unique items than the somewhat-replica hilts.

There is many really cool looking hilts, but IMO, the simple beauty of the Bellicose wins. I've sort of wanted one on and off for a couple years, but now I seriously want it! Hopefully I can order around Christmas.

Dark Standard Issue.  Simple design with a touch of style from the slanted emitter.  Easy to use one or two handed, and has held up to large amounts of use.

Next purchase will probably be a Dark Arbiter.

Yes, the Bellicose is up there in my favorites also, it is beautiful. I especially love the emitter, with the slanted and normal style. Simply amazing.

The Overlord has been my favorite since I started visiting the site. I'm thinking my next will be either an Archon3.1 or Dark Mantis.

I like my SI's. But more for the fact that they are my very own lightsabers than the hilt design. My only complaint is the single blade retention screw. My Ini V2 blades are more secure. I've never had a problem with the tubelike design slipping out of my hands like I've read has happened or almost happened. 😬

I don't think I could give a specific saber that is my favorite, they are all so amazing. It is sort of like how I don't have a favorite color, or food, or book, or movie, or ... basically anything. :P ;D

No, sadly I do not, right now the only one I have is a Dark Apprentice LE v4.  Hopefully soon I can get me a Dark Initiate LE v4 Emerald, but I do not yet have the money for it. The Bellicose is still a long way of for me, first I am getting the Dark Initiate, than I am going to get a Dark Mantis, then a Dark Standard Issue. After that I will see what I get next.  That is my current plan anyways.

I do love my Bellicose. Be sure to read up on threads involving LED rattle on it, there's several very effective and simple ways to solve that. There's a few other things peculiar to the Bellicose, but all of them easily remedied. A great saber.

As for a favorite saber... That's a hard choice. I think it might end up being the Manticore, I've been eyeing that one for a while. That emitter with its wonderful windows.

What's with a Jedi going for all the Dark hilts? Although I must say, most LS colours look really good on dark hilts.

Sentinel V4

Guardian. It would be the Chosen one , but I can't get my stinking hands around it.

My absolute favorite saber available is the Monarch.  I currently have a Adegan Dark Monarch and damn is it the best!  I will be purchasing a violet (regular) Monarch in the future as well.  My next purchase however, at the end of the month, will be an Arctic Blue Standard Issue V3 Staff with quick release.

The Archon V2.1, so classic and so perfect for everything. Funny thing is that I have an emerald one, but I would like one just in CG because there is nothing better.

Next on the wish list is the beautiful black/silver Dark Sentinel LE in either Tri-AS or Tri-CG. Or maybe one day a Dark Omen in PO.

Dominix line of sabers, all the ones on my list, next will probably be an Arctic Blue Consular =] Big big buys in the future though will be the Chosen One in Blazing Red and Graflex old school style in Guardian Blue ;o

Hi.  There are two sabers that have been on my wish list for awhile but now the could want list is growing.  But I have more sabers than any one person needs to have.  Had a plan for collecting that many but that hasn't yet happened.  I tend to like sabers that are more simple and streamlined but also can appreciate the more intricate ones with switch boxes and greeblies, etc.  Also a big plus if saber is MHS emitter/pommel compatible. :)

1.  Archon V2.1 - beautiful looking, can modify so much of this saber, but may be annoyed by tight Obs/Em battery pack fit
2.  Prophecy - can't commit to blade color yet, would consider recharge port as battery pack a tight fit
3.  Electrum Wind - curious about this one, but likely too thick of a hilt for my hands comfort
4.  Liberator/Libby - simple sleek lines and an attractive emitter with those windows

Favorite sabers are the Shock line.  Have all the variations of them.  But will often change out emitter/pommel.

Surprise potential fav saber - I really want a Crimson Scorpion without the claw.  It's shmexy &  8)

This is a tough one. I love my Dark Sentinel LE v4. Tri-Cree Red with obsidian lite SC. The grip is what brings me back to this one. That being said, the Bellicose is equally important to me.(emerald driver, obsidian 4 soundcard )

I normally put the two together for a special looking saber staff. So I'll have to say my DS LE V4/Bellicose saber staff is my favorite. 👌

I like your idea of taking the claw off the crimson scorpion Dauntless.

P.s. - if I could get my hands on the menace, any variations, for a staff, that would probably be my favorite. Someday..

I'm lucky to have the "super-saber" of my choice already: the AB Consular with red AV switch. That's what I pick up when it's "elegance time" :)
However the AS Prophecy I first bought grew on me completely - it's a prefectly nimble one-handed hilt and when it comes to "pioneering" that's what I grab from the rack and it helps me to cut myself through all the challenges. I guess I'd like to see a Dark Prophecy too joining my little armoury sometimes.
I also like my Aeon/Dominix v4 pair for dueling, they're massive and beautiful. Their shorter version, the Initiate v4 feels also really comfortable (I bought one for my friend months ago and could only hand it over last week), I may need to pick up two Dark Initiates and a coupler for dual wielding and staff wielding. I know there are many nice colours but I do lean towards AS again :)

If I had a sack of Dactaries I'd surely pick up a Shock in AS (I'm hopeless with these colours :D) and an Arbiter too. That'd probably be BR.
Somehow I'm not touched by the Graflex-line so far. Could be my mind's obsolete firmware but at least it saves me a lot of money I can spend on other 3 sabers :)

I am actually very underwhelmed by my Graflex(very lightweight & kind of unwieldy). Its a nice saber but doesnt come close to my guardian or malice and obviously my Raven.
what do you think?(perhaps I just like heavy sabers) ;D

The Aeon LE v4 is my only saber at the moment, I'm eyeing next either the Catalyst or the Azure Mantis for my next. As far as my favorite hilt? That is a toss up between the Graflex & the Guardian.

   The Aeon v4 is a great hilt(im giving the one I got the VLE treatment. Basically Green metalic enamel for the CG led blade)

You could always send it to me to look after Darth Acervus, I don't have a Graflex but I know how to wield one! ;D

And to keep in the spirit of the thread my favourite sabers on the site are:
1 Prophecy V3 (This is likely to be my first US hilt when funds allow)
2 Sentinel LE V4 (This was the first I considered as an entry to US sabers)
3 Consular (I considered this for a cosplay)

Favorite lightsaber Chosen One... Next purchase might be The Malice, Dark Mantice or Mantice CE.

I have my Graflex CE now and it is my favorite now.  I admit, I'm a flake.  Ask me again next week when I get my new Bellicose and I'll say that's my fav now.  No wait, my "yet-to-be-named" Ashoka Tano saber will be my new fav.   It goes on and on...

I think so, because of the grips, which are fantastic, and because it's a nice compact hilt but not necessarily short.  In fact, I think if I had to do it over on my Electrum Wind, I'd for the chamfered grips instead of the rounded ones. 

Hmm good to know! My next saber is going to either be a Chosen One or a Graflex.

I've heard that some find the Graflex good for duelling, but it's generally agreed upon that it's not the best choice.

This is how I felt about my Chosen One. First of all it's ridiculously beautiful, but I find it was so unwieldy that I didn't enjoy picking it up to use it.

In saying this expect it to wow you but don't expect it to handle nearly as good as it's more streamlined brothers.

I absolutely love my Catalyst hilt. Such a sleek design and the choke point makes for comfortable wielding.

Exactly! The Graflex/Chosen One are beautiful hilts, and I will probably eventually get both, but more for the sake of having two of the most iconic hilts in the history of Star Wars.

Others are better for duelling, but those two are close to the best you can get for display. Maybe I'll just get stunts. :-\

That's actually a really good idea although it'd be hard not having sound just to enhance the experience with these classic lol.

There's a lot of people who seem to have similar opinions on that. It does require a specific grip to use effectively and not everyone is comfortable with it.

My favorite is the first saber I purchased. The guardian, I love it!  There has been some talk here about the chosen one. I will give you my two cents on the one I own. It's supper cool,it's Darth Vader's,  and it's nice looking,but I do not like to hold it or play with it.  It's very uncomfortable and if I had to do it all over again I would have got something else that fits my hands. Also I got it in emerald,  bad call. I should have defiantly got a stunt for just display.

Totally agree and yes a great collectors piece . . . and the bonus is that you can fight hard with it anytime if you choose.

Overlord is intriguing.  I've seen mention of that one a lot lately.  I particularly like the way the emitter looks on that one.  The Scorpion has also intrigued me, partly in part due to the following theory...  Now that I have a small collection of UltraSabers, I've noticed the hilt and pommel design have an effect on the sound output.  Three different sabers/pommels all with Obisidian V4 can sound slightly different when certain hilt/pommel combinations are used.

Agreed on that. Maybe only V3, but if already going for Obsidian, than the extra $10 is so worth it. Arrrgggghhhh!

I'll just have to face that decision when I come to it.

favorite saber is the renegade

OK, so I will add my 2 cents now. 

I have to do this the only way I know how. 
Favorite Dueling saber:  The Arbiter has just taken the top spot for me, with the Lost Gray as my #2.

Favorite belt/eye candy:  The Archon V3 then the Guardian. 

Mines the dark catalyst which will be my first:P but I really love the guardian,archon and war glaive.

The favorite in my collection is the Guardian. I feel like that particular hilt just syncs with me the best. Feels great to hold, to duel with, and the nickel plating just completes the outer shell beautifully, not to mention the double blade screws and the small holes around the emitter that let the blade color through. The knurled screws, one with a crystal or jewel inside and the balance with a 32 inch blade all make this perfect for me. Make no mistake, there are at least 8 other hilts in my Ultra Sabers collection that are all in second place together that I am absolutely thrilled to have, but when the Guardian arrived it spoke to me.

Highest on my second place list are the Electrum Wind, the Graflex and the Fulcrum and Lost Gray.

You keep surprising me with how much the Arbiter has grown on you.  That just ups the ante for how awesome of a raffle prize it is.  

How does the weight of the Arbiter compare to your Lost Gray?  

Given that the Lost Gray is a little wider in diameter how do you like the grip on it?



Now that we're talking about the favourites in our own collections mine are:

1. Archon V2.1

2. Menace SE

3. Consular

I can't see these being dethroned any time soon but the Lost Gray has me wondering about it slipping into 3rd.

Its as much a surprise for me as it is for you.  like I said when I got it, I would never have purchased the Arbiter, but since I own it now I find its definitely one of the most comfortable hilts I own.  Im tempted to send it back and have US upgrade it to a V4 card and have them add a QD Tri-C setup.   

Well here is the specs for you now.  The Arbiter is 14" long and has a diameter of 1.45", it weighs in at 1 lb 2 oz.
                                                    The Lost Gray is 12" long with a diameter of 1.6", it weighs in at 1 lb 8 oz. 

I have to say that I like the smaller diameter of the Arbiter.  It not that the Gray is bad or uncomfortable, because its not, its quite comfortable, but something about the Arbiter just feels better. 

Both my Aeon LE v4 and  Catalyst are very comfortable to weild, the Cat more so due to the forward choke point being in a more natural position to grip at.

Just in case anyone didn't already notice - the Arbiter is a "Deal of the Day" saber right now at $20 off. That combined with the 15% discount for the Christmas Sale, is an excellent deal.

I was just comparing the length of the Arbiter against the rest of the hilts and see that the only hilts that are as long or longer than the Arbiter are the cross-guard hilts, the Mantis and the Scorpion. All others are 1-2 inches shorter on average than the Arbiter, but as you mentioned the Arbiter has a smaller diameter than most, so with that combination it seems like in a duel it would really give an advantage of not only superior grip but optimum leverage for added strength.

Question: It looks like the blade inserts deep into the emitter similar to the Archon. Is that right, about 2 inches?

You all know how much I love the Dark Prophecy... it's one of my all time favorites.  Apart from that, I love the Consular, Overlord, and Dark Arbiter quite a bit.

How about that Sentinel you're holding in your profile.... I know its a big favorite around here, but not enough to make your list?

My favourite, as it has been since I found the site 4 years ago, is, was and likely always will be the Bellicose.

Mine is currently sat on a shelf, disassembled, looking rather woebegone... but in the next couple of weeks I'll be reviving it with a new AV switch to let it take its rightful place as the centrepiece of my collection :)

I would have to say my favorite saber is the Dominix V4. It has great choke points and it not as clunky as other hilts such as my Graflex. I am looking into getting a dark prophecy v3 in tri red stunt but i'm not sure if I should do that or save for a shock Le with obsidian v4 and an emerald driver. My friend has a prophecy v3 and I love how it feels I just hate how you can't get it with sound and an emerald driver.

I'm shooting for an azure saber collection so I already bought my favorite which is an azure reaper in guardian blue with obsidian lite.  Here are the next couple on my wishlist (after I buy some stunt sabers for my wife and son first):

Azure Mantis (Diamond) DVA with FOC in PO
Azure Menace (Stunt) Tri-cree AB

Out of my list I have, probably my Overlord. Its the most comfiest, Star Wars looking saber I have so far :P Next to my Archon v2.1 though, that's probably my 2nd favorite then third if its okay to add would be my custom Guardian Blue Shock =] Was Blazing Red but wanted to change it to Guardian Blue to have my own personal Jedi saber

I do love my Bellicose... Love the way the Manticore looks, but I'm thinking of changing out the emitter and pommel... But I think my favorite so far has to be the Dark Sentinel LE V4. It's utilitarian and functional while still having a very cool element to it.

The Prophecy is my favorite. I love the look and feel of this saber!  ;D ;D
The first time I ever got on the Ultra Sabers web site the Prophecy just called to me and I new I had to have it. I remember thinking if I could only get one saber this is the one I wanted. Green is my favorite color so I got it in green instead of blue and I got an Arbiter pommel.
 If Ultra Sabers ever puts out the Prophecy LE again I will buy one for sure!!  ;D ;D

I'd have to go with the saber purchase I just made: the graflex SE w/ Guardian Blue; reminds me of when I first saw episode 4 as a kid (although, arguably, the blade in the movie was probably closer to Arctic Blue...but I'm a sucker for the darker hue  ;)).  Plus, I really like the clean look of the polished aluminum versus the nickel (but to each their own :D).
