Who watches the watchmen?

WWW

So many of you may have noticed I have been absent from the forums for a bit. I was working an event. On the last day of the event, I dueled about 15 children using dual wield for about 45 minutes. They eventually overwhelmed me, but I gave them a run for their money. At dusk, I did saber dancing to back up a pair of belly-dancers. They took turns performing; I went straight through, taking a break for one song when they broke out the scimitars, so as to not detract focus. That was about an hour or so. I went straight from that to some fight choreo for about 20 mins and then did fire spinning with sword, baton, staff, and cane for another hour and a half and quit at midnight. With the exception of some lost arm hair and lighting the fuel station on fire once to give the safeties a run for their money, the whole thing went off without a hitch. It was a fun time and I picked up a few new tricks from some of the other performers. The down side is, after a full weekend, capped off with a marathon 3 hours straight of spinning, I can hardly move today. Once I recover a bit, I will be combing back through the forum to see what I missed.

I do too. Alas, I was too busy to take them, and no one else seemed inclined. My next event is in July, perhaps I will be able to find someone willing to remedy this for me.

Oh man, I wish I could've witnessed that.  I'm sure I would've laughed my arse off (after making sure everyone was safe, of course Wink).

It sounds like it was a fun event (a burn perhaps?), and I hope that you're able to move freely again soon!  Epsom salts baths are your friend.

I managed to find one picture on facebook from this weekend. That is me at the top of this sideways image represented here as a bright green streak of light with a yellow flare. Not my image or I would rotate it for you.
