Title: saber mock up question Post by: Aayrick on December 08, 2016, 08:26:56 PM I saw one post where cardboard tubes were used to mock up a shroud for a saber, but was curious about what people do when they're thinking about making a full saber. I've started some sketches, ironing out design ideas so far and was planning on doing some mock ups soon to see how the design would translate to 3D. I thought about using cardboard or PVC and was wondering what other people had done of if I'm overthinking the process.
The design I'm thinking of is a tonfa inspired saber so the basic form is pretty simple, just trying to figure out how to make it so it looks good.
