I already searched a bit for the most accurate setup, but since it's been changed a lot over the years, I can't really figure out which is the widely accepted consent on the buttons...
What do you think is the best setup?

If it's not too late to chime in; I say go with the Ep3 gold buttons. It's the easiest to get accurate.

Are they removeable? I mean, they're available in the shop, so...if they are, you can reproduce almost any combination from the movies by just changing them. Edit: Seems like they have been removed...only the gold buttons for the conversion kit are still available  |

They seem the red button and glass eye button on TCSS with 10/32 threading. Not sure if that is the same threading US uses.

Cool, thx! So, to sum it up: front and rear gold for the Ep3 look, red on the rear for any look from ANH to TLJ (ANH and TFA/TLJ without a front button, ESB with a red front). That's what I took from the website... Which would mean a gold and a red set is needed to reproduce the different setups. |
