Its a heat sink from Radio Shack. I stumbled on it one day while I was working there, and remembered that piece while I was considering what I wanted to do to my new saber. Think its meant for transistors or something along those lines.

It looks like he just secured it with a screw. I could be wrong, though. |

Found it. Whats the best way of securing the head sink on?
I just swapped out one of the retention screws for a thumbscrew that I ground down to the needed length. |
