I, like Logos, refuse to accept certain new cannon details. Also, Yoda was an amazingly strong Jedi, it's an insult to think you would or even could come close to his skill with the Force. |

As for Yoda and the lightning, as a Force ghost, his ability to be precognitive would be amplified, so he could easily have known that said lightning strike was going to happen, and just gestured for effect. Jedi like to use tricks to appear more powerful than they are, after all.
