I don't really like gamey stuff but I'd try it at last once.
If butchered and cleaned correctly, it really doesn't have that much. Mostly if there is still a lot of blood left in the meat when it is packaged does it get the gamey flavor. |

Never tried it, but I don't think I'd be opposed to trying it sometime. But I do really like horses (they are just so cool).
Personally, my favorite meat is probably moose.

I didn't realize that horse meat is lean and healthy as well, good to know. I may try it if I ever venture towards your country, Crue. Will let you know of course so you can show us around and point us to the good places to eat.  Horse meat tends to have a higher iron content, less fat and very slightly more protein than beef and has a very good amount of B vitamins. They often serve it in my hospital because it's a good meat to help regenerate after blood loss. Noone should feel forced to try it though if they don't feel like it. If you ever come to my part of the world I'd be glad to show you around |
