Here's a fun anatomical fact: There are the same number of bones in a dolphin's flipper as in the human hand. As is the number of bones in the neck of a mouse and that of a giraffe! It's a Mammalian thing. (Additional fact: Smallest bones in human body are the Hammer and Anvil found within the inner ear. The largest human bone is the femur or thigh bone) |
