Well, you only need to look at my signature to tell who my favorite EU character is. In fact Corran Horn is my favorite Star Wars character of all time. I've always loved his character ever since I first read about him.

I always liked Jacen, but Caedus... I felt pitty for him really. I won't ruin it for you if you haven't read the series, but Jacen becomes really misguided by the end. The only reason I can possibly feel sorry for him is because of why he's doing it. But still he becomes a monster.

I also like Kyle Katarn, and Dash Rendar and I wish they would do more with both of these two.

I have to agree with you on Caedus.  Really starts out with good ideas but totally blinded by arrogance.

I think his arrogance was certainly a huge factor in why he fell. I also think that his "win no matter the cost" attitude was also a big factor in him turning. I think those two traits were the main cause of his own downfall. Also to his new "mentor" didn't exactly help any either. Though he was already showing his two damning quality's even in the first book, when he killed that guy who had the bomb stapped between him and his hostage in the first book.

Totally, but the thing is, I don't think he would have fallen so far (or at least he could have been redeemed) if it wasn't for his "mentor" she really misled him.
