This is true and the Jedi Council often tried to combat it by being slow and deliberate in all of their decisions.  But if you're going to accuse Jedi of being arrogant you should look at your own plans to bring peace to the galaxy!  You plan to pull a Caedus, but then you assume you are at least as skilled and powerful as he.  Not to mention the assumption that you will succeed!

One of the things that I don't agree with the Sith on whether the Force is too be used as a tool or treated as an equal.  I personally feel that the Force can guide us to the answers we seek if we are willing to listen.  Also as a Matukai I believe in meditation during physical training.  The Jedi got the idea of Meditation right.  Being mindful is always a good idea!
