Changing the color of your saber!

I bought two stunt sabers which are really basic in construction: just a ratcheting switch that connects an LED to a battery pack.

What I did to change the color of my saber was:
1: Take off the blade (small set screw on the side of the hilt near the top)
2: Shake out the LED (you might have to actually use a long screwdriver to push it out)
3: Take apart the LED setup (Grip the wires and unscrew)
4: Cut the wire
5: Tie in a two prong female plug
6: Soldered a few new LED's to the male ends of the same plug
7: Reassembled it with the new color!

You can buy simple LED's from the internet, just make sure that they are the right size.

This method works with the "basic sound" option as well. I have never owned or seen any of the custom sound models so I can't tell you if it will work.
